Oh god
I just remembered why I don't usually have my characters talk like this.
I live in constant fear of not misusing programming script language appropriately. Also in constant fear of screwing up the internal consistency I try to make, besides the difficulty in translating normal speech into it.
This is why I use a sort of hybrid whenever I have a computer talking. It shows that there is clearly a computer talking, but doesn't require all that. What language is it, by the way?
Also, $$$PRICECHECK
on a plantlike race that, somewhat, mirror Crystallum.
Their name will literally translate as Growth, although (and this is a reference but that is all I'm intentionally taking from any other source), some might call them Botani.
They will germinate small, but rapidly grow to about 3-4 feet in a couple years. Growth after that is reasonably linear.
Botani are both herbivorous and photosynthetic.
Certain Botani will become "farmers", and take root to grow food resources for mobile Botani who cannot otherwise produce enough to keep moving at their normal pace. Others will become homes and shelter which will bioluminesce inside to provide some extra nutriment to the mobile Botani (as they do need such maintenance to function in a reasonable capacity, slowing down function should they get less resources until they are at the speed of normal plants at the very extremes) and storage. One Botani can cover about 50 m^2, or 25 m^3, before a fusing effort is required. Botani can fuse, which will, in addition to sharing their consciousness, expand their capacity nonlinearly. Two Botani can cover 100 m^2, or 50 m^3, three Botani can cover 200 m^2, or 100 m^3, and so on.
Botani value art, and will be grandiose builders. However, they do understand that the tree requires solid roots, to use their idiom, and build practically first.
