I really don't like this new voting system. I like the old system where you wrote "Abstain", "Support", or "Oppose" followed by what proposal it applied to.

I llke the old one too, but with a half-unused Council and too many proposals with too many weird votes it was getting to be a bit of an emergency. I'll try getting it back to the old format next time. (Normally, I wouldn't resort to throwing out a chain letter filled with proposals and lots of incorrect votes either, but desperate times...)

Icytea's analysis in Litany of the Void of how everyone would get along was pretty cool and I'd be interested in seeing it for this, but it's also a lot of work, and it may be he's less able to tell, or doesn't want to for reasons.
Maybe I'll make such a thing in the coming days. It's not that elaborate to make.

So I may have misunderstood this, but can the creator of a school ban people from its use?

EDIT: Also, further described my schools.

Whimsy: The way of the Whimgranter is one of many joyous occasions, mostly due to the fact that they grow in power when positive emotions or idealistic ideas are evoked. Through celebration, joke, performance and all forms of art, the initiates of this school are able to tap into the mental subconscious of their fellow mortals and go wild. Though low-power Whimsy is only able to accentuate or reduce emotion or thought, more potent levels of the school allow the user to overload the minds of their target or even conjure from happy minds.

Glummer: The way of the Glumwright is sobering; they are constantly awashed in cynical thought and negative emotions....not that true initiates mind all too much, considering the power they gain in the process. To them, the awkward moments, ghastly funerals, prison cells and torture blocks are sources of power. In nearly all ways, Glummer mirrors the art of Whimsy, only differing in its source of power and the final effect. Where Whimsy would make an army brave with ancestral songs, Glummer would terrify the enemy with images of existential crisis.

micelus: At the moment, no, because that would lead to a whole mess where a bunch of players decide to lock up their schools and stuff and ruin magic for everyone else.

For both of these I tend to think, based on the desire for NPC autonomy and automatic progression, that advancements like these can't really be bought so much as negotiated with the rest of the players. Looks like polling time for initial technology level

Yes, now two basic angels cost 1E. I realized 22E for a reasonably competent but not game-breaking angel was far too much.

The link to the IC thread in the OP of this thread has "reportsent" in it. I think that is causing issues.
