Eh, not enough votes at this stage? I don't think the T2B is a good idea since it'll still be that expensive.

Well, we have two designs this turn. And our main problem is the Arstotzkan snipers in the mountains. A proper sniper rifle there should help deal with them. We push them back in the mountains, we shouldn't have an ore problem.

There's a bigass problem with Arstotzkan RPGs in the mountains.  We -still- have no man-portable explosive weapons.  A grenade launcher and we'd have an extra ore this round, so I'm suggesting one again.  If the mountains are that important, spending both design actions on stuff useful there is a good thing.

I've changed to undecided on the T2B. It would probably help, but we're pretty hard-up for resources. If it ends up being Very Expensive with the Arsetotzkans this close to victory we may as well have wasted the design phase. Here's a vote list though.

The recoilless rifle works. For the most part though, our problem in the mountains is from their sniper, not their RPG. Trying to solve the latter isn't going to help elsewhere.

Actually, a better recoilless rifle would be good as it's cheap anti-armour. Tanks are specifically designed for fighting tanks after all, and we are not going to out produce them.

If we need a poor man's AT weapon, could we use an order to have our troops make petrol bombs? They definitely wouldn't be worth a design, but I feel we're rapidly approaching that level of desperation.

A knockoff PaK made from the bumblebee cannon might also be worth considering for a revision, or perhaps an anti-tank version of our landmine.

I'd quite like to reduce the complexity of our tiger armor,  Sensei said it was really good but we didn't have enough.

We have a landmine? I'm cool with making an AT mine but I don't think we have a landmine :P

Turning the Bumblebee, or making a variant of it, into an AT cannon would be great actually. Making the tiger cheaper I'd say is our top priority for the revision though.

Huh... I could have sworn we had a landmine. Maybe that'd be a good use of a design phase.

M34 "Viper" Landmine

A flat disk-shaped landmine. The disks each have their own trigger, and can interlock to increase explosive force enough to destroy enemy vehicles or be buried individually to better confound enemy infantry movement. The weight used to trigger the mine can be adjusted in the field before the charge is primed to prevent infantry from triggering mines intended to destroy enemy vehicles. They are designed to become inoperative after 30 days to prevent civilian casualties.

Making the tiger cheaper I'd say is our top priority for the revision though.

Agreed.

War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.

Honestly, I'm not so sure about making Tiger armour cheaper. I think fixing our camo might be a higher priority.

Or we can try this.

Decoys

In the army, there are objectives. Heavily guarded objectives. Objectives that many will give their lives for to accomplish. There will be blood and fighting, but inevitably some will get through. Sacrifices will be made... but what if they were made for nothing?

Introducing the decoy. Decoy's serve plenty of purposes. Whether emptying the magazines of enemy soldier's, wasting a bomber's payloads, reducing morale with the illusion of overwhelming numbers, or drawing sniper fire, decoys will be an invaluable asset to the warfront.

Specifically these are decoys of tanks, Moskurg snipers, soldiers, and maybe factories.

Code: [Select]
Simple example of how decoys help against snipers

1. Sniper shoots dummy
2. Our sniper sees the muzzle flash and finds his location
3. Our sniper shoots back

I bet this will work better than fixing the camo. This helps on all fronts.

Decoys I suspect we can implement via espionage. Wanna scare Arstotzka with our nukes some more? :P

EDIT: Also, we've already fixed our camouflage problems, our officers are no longer being the ones shot.

You missed URs vote.

We might want to build a ship as well.  Sensei confirmed to me that it would be able to operate down to the plains, helping on every adjacent section such as the city and the desert, as well as allowing us to interfere with one of their resources.

I'm still in favour of a break-action GL, though.  It would fill too many holes that we're missing, especially with the nature of recoilless rifles, which require to be set up before firing, and fired from a standing position.  The GL could be fired on the move, and would be a true one-man weapon with a long range anti-infantry capability.

No. I suppose there are similarities, but I'm fairly certain angry birds doesn't let me charge into a battalion of knights with a car made of circular saws.
