Should Mosquito win I have an idea for revision

Study aerodynamics, preferably by building a wind tunnel. Then introduce small, inexpensive changes to all our aircrafts to reduce their drag
Reasoning is triple
1) Will increase model 2 and model 3 effectiveness
2) Mosquito being biplane will have drag problems, we can mitigate it somewhat
3) It will noticeably benefit any next aircraft we will design because it will be designed with aerodynamics in mind

In principle the Mosquito is what we needed today.

But for the time being, I have to support the Yellowjacket. I'm unsure of the effects of losing the skies in the morning, then winning that back at night will be favourable under our GM.

[count my vote as an official hold unless GM clarifies his understanding on night raiding]

As I said Mosquito is not meant to stay main fighter for a long time, designing monoplane, WW2 style fighter will be needed in the next few turns. But Mosquito is useful short term and will stay useful long term, while yellowjacket will be replaced by a better air superiority fighter.

I don't understand why you think that Mosquito will lose in a role of day fighter. Their fighter is not that great. It is converted dive bomber. They need next generation fighter to counter Mosquito

So, how many people are there on the Moskurgan (is it Moskurgan or Moskurgian?) team, exactly?

And then we have a dedicated fighter. Designed for Zoom and Boom tactics. Against a dive bomber with more Dihedral than the Stuka. Still we are losing in the air.

Not sure coleslaw

And UR, we probably could convert an existing biplane design into the utility aircraft you're suggesting as well.

1) We have a shitty dedicated fighter and it still almost equal to  their fighter despite having few times less durability, few times less firepower and costing the same. Mosquito will be more advanced, and, if lucky, cheaper.  It may be somewhat slower, but enemy needs to slowdown to escort loaded bombers. +Wasps will not disappear and provide support
2) Model 1 is too ancient to be a proper utility aircraft.
3) Yellowjacket is too expensive to try to make it our only fighter. Very expensive is the a very likely price.
4) Mosquito and Wasp supplement each other, while Yellowjacket just obsoletes Wasps into nothingness

I want fast+manoeuvrable fighter combo

First  Wasp+Mosquito
Then Mosquito+Yellowjacket
Then Yellowjacket+some manoeuvrable monoplane (maybe with revising fighter-bomber version of Yellowjacket)

We can't use the wasp to go fast, given that it has a tendency to disintegrate at high speeds. That's what the yellowjacket is trying to address!
