The Belgian Empire regrets that the Ottomans Empire is blind to the risk the Mongols pose. Who will they turn against if the plucky Karelians are vanquished? Who but the Ottomans can be the target of the fleets being build in the Black Sea and the Eastern Mediterraneans.

A long time ago, hordes of Mongols destroyed a caliphate in Baghdad, creating untold misery. The Belgian Empire is not going to let such a tragedy happens once more and will save the Ottomans, no matter how much they hinder us.

One army from 78 to 74, one navy from the Western Mediterranean to the Straits of Gibraltar.

To allay any potential misunderstandings resulting from recent movements, the AAI wishes to state it does not have any intent to invade Canadian State, and indeed that such an invasion would be hilariously impossible in the first place (the Canadian army, after all, greatly outnumbers the AAI's, which is only large enough to effect defense). Instead, the AAI is merely keeping its military level immediately in its territory in the region approximate to that of the Canadian State and associated Canadian buildup, as should be understandable near one's capital (especially one as isolated as the AAI's), and there is no longer any reason to keep our forces near the Romans': a bond of trust has been established between these Mediterranean states.

The AAI still wishes all cordial relations with the Canadian State, such as the flourishing of sciences between our great nations.

The Khanate asks that the Ottomans not allow the Romans to take advantage of their goodwill by using Ottoman lands to ferry troops onto Khanate soil; they ask that the Ottomans request the Romans not station troops in provinces bordering the Khanate for their exercises. When Belgium, aggressive expansionists that they are, are preparing to make war on the Khanate for falsified offenses and imagined misdeeds, is allied with Rome, troops on our border causes understandably high tensions.

Furthermore, the Khanate requests that it's allies the Canadian State endeavour to persuade the Belgian Empire away from it's current path, and asks all reasonably minded nations to do the same. If Belgium conquers Khanate lands, it is only a matter of time until it turns it's hunger onto the rest of the world. It's claim that the Khanate's navies are intended to strike at Ottoman ports is entirely falsified. The navies are serving as a means of bypassing the Caucasian wall, as the rebels have fortified the mountain passes heavily; our current military endeavours are being directed towards the war with Karelia.

Only barbarians mongols would expect the rest of the world to be stupid enough to believe that they are merely defending  themselves while they are occupying the legitimate Karelians provinces of Estonia and Latvia. How could any civilized country stand by while piles of skulls are erected outside the walls of Talinn and Riga?

Reborn Khanate:

Armies and fleets were moved about but no fighting was had for the brave (and bored) Khanate soldiers. Maybe next month.

Meanwhile, railroads up north and fortifications about the nation were erected, as well as first port on the shores of Baltic 'Rainbow' Sea.

Perhaps the Karelians and the Khanate could resolve their differences?

Belgium, war with the Khanate would put a strain on relations, as then our two allies would be at war.  How could calls to arms be resolved then?  Is war the answer here?
