"Good day, I need to inquire about obtaining several dozen units of steel along, some units of coal and a small unit of kyrite. I'd be grateful for the assistance of those matters." Adrian replied, surveying the rather large crowd of investors and captains of industry inside the hall.

The battle was done. Castle Black was taken, and its garrison surrendered to the Elbrethian forces. Yet, there was no sense of victory to what has transpired.

Erika, by many seen as the heart and soul of the rebellion, was wounded and the losses taken at the assault cooled the initial enthusiasm and the mood of the march.
Still, this was a victory and Elbrethian troops quickly took to securing the castle and obtaining the resources that were the goal of this battle.

Castle Black, despite its formidable size and imposing appearance haled scarcely any supplies. The majority of materials in the fortress were bars of lead for ammunition, barrels of powder and tools. Anything an army would need for conquest, but nothing that a suffering town could use.

Flavia and Erika's officers all gathered in Castle Black's refectory, to discuss the further action. She was hoping that others would make their minds known. In the aftermath of the battle the female general looked somewhat less upbeat than usual, sullenly observing as everyone entered.

"Erika... that is Her highness is injured, but the help of Abbess saved her from any crippling damage. We are yet to see how she is... but for now, we must decide what to do next. Someone has to take command while she is indisposed."

"Hmm, metal, timber and, kyrite you said? The total for such a purchase..." The clerk starts looking through the log of the market's exchange. "I am pretty certain that the amount you are looking to contract for will be [2] unavailable. Kyrite's all out I'm afraid and the war rumors stopped any further transport. I can deliver you steel and coal, but those will be at [1] 100 silver marks (1d)."
The clerk gives you weak smile and apologetically shrugs.
"I am terribly sorry about the inconvenience, sir, but there's only so much we are able to do with the transport in turmoil."

The doors to the refractory swung open, Jonathan emerging from the hallway. His armored jacket creaking as he strode in, straight backed and frowning. He tugs his helmet off, his eyes drifting over the crowd, lingering on each officer. They paused on Ambros, and a quick smile flickered upon his lips as he spoke, calling him out from across the room.

"Ambros, is it? The strategist extraordinaire, whom we have to thank for our presence here-- and the continued revolution." Jonathan bowed stiffly at the hips, "Thank you."

His eyes found the barbarian, the Weylander, "Hail, Jarl Halfdan. Your sword arm is strong and your aim true-- we hold Castle Black, thanks to your strength." His smile thinned, "And your fierce fighters."

Pausing, the smile falters and falls into a frown, his gaze sweeping back over the officers, "If...I...wish to see my Aunt. Princess Erika."

The Queen is...wounded. I'm not sure you can see her right now she is in the care of the Hospitaller Sisters.

The Eel was clearly barely keeping his composure. However whether it was rage or desperation he kept back was yet to be seen, the tremble in his hands however gave away that he was rapidly approaching a breaking point.

Ambros spoke up. "We are still leading an army and until Elbreth is in the Princess' rightful hands, this is a military operation. I suggest either you General Flavia or I lead for now...with advice from the rest of course."

Before the Korlan-born general could respend, the Weylander answered.

"I am afraid the Jarl is right, the Princess is currently resting and it would be best not to see her just now..."

"I'm sorry, but who exactly are you? Our dear monarch did not mention a relative."

"Don't worry, I had expected the war to be a curse on the economy, I just had not expected to be so damaging at this point. Still, thank you for your assistance and have a good day sir."" Adrian said, leaving the hall without further ado back to the carriage. Given the economic climate, the visit to the factor's hall would be of far more importance if the rebellion had been successful enough to drive the investors in sheepstead into a mass panic.

To the Factor's hall!

"Jonathan Tyveruis. I am her nephew, a bastard by way of her older brother, at least, according to my mother, a noble of a dead family." He gives another half-bow to general, then, after a short breath, "I have a regiment-- some Sheepstead lowborn, who seek the freedom of Elbreth and the crowning of the queen-- they are your's to command."

"Is-- is she going to be well? What happened? And is there anything I might be able to do? I can ride to fetch a surgeon, if need be."

I highly doubt that is the case. Or if it is, you're barely a relative any way

"Your desire to aid your monarch is without peer, but she'll live. Just a flesh wound is all and as a future Queen, she must survive worse hardships. Now as for what happened...our young Princess is a great leader. She is charismatic, strategic and wise beyond her years...but she is still young and desired to lead from the front during our siege of this castle. It resulted in her wounds...but she'll be fine as I said."

Ambros glanced at Flavia. Gesturing whether Jonathan should be allowed to see the monarch.

"In any case, our revolution continues and we must move on soon. Tell me, have you or your men taken note of any Prestoner movements or rumours on your way here?"

Gesture to Flavia asking whether Jonathan should be allowed to see Erika. Also, send a message to the captured regiments: ask them if they wish to join our side with better contracts or if they would like to remain prisoners until their ransom is paid for.

Attempt to salvage artillery.

"Things are quiet, General."

Jonathan pulls a tight-lipped frown and shrugs, "Many do not believe that a revolution is on its way, or that a Princess is marching to reclaim the nation. The people are eager, though, for a Queen to rule them-- a true ruler."

"Do you believe an army will march to reclaim Castle Black--have you interrogated the officers?"

Ssyrith watched the newcomer carefully, this was an unexpected development, the princess had a living relative? This one would certainly require watching, but for now there where more important issues to handle.

"It would depend on how well informed they are of the current situation, but in any case it would serve us well to keep the news of the Princesses injury as contained as possible, lest the Prestoners try to take advantage of it. Speaking of her majesty if you wish I can brew a concoction to speed up her recovery, it wouldn't be an instantaneous fix but as said, it would speed it up.

As for leadership, I have to concur with Ambros, him or you miss Flavia, as the two of you seem the most experienced in these military matters. And in the meantime it would probably do well to try and salvage what we can of the artillery and if not, replace it, I am no expert but I would think we'd likely need some kind of siege equipment to take Sheepstead in any reasonable amount of time."

"Not yet no. Things have been chaotic recently...but I suppose now is as good as any. Ssyrith, would you do me the pleasure of...entertaining the captured officers?"

"General Ambros-- if I may suggest? I could interrogate the officers to discover any information of use and sway them to our side while waiting to meet with the Queen." Jonathan offers, politely, glancing towards the departing lackey.

Ssyrith's lips parted in a sinister smile, "Why Ambros, it'd be my pleasure."

And with that Ssyrith made his way out, stopping by the doors to call out over his shoulder "My offer still stands, if you need me, you know where I'll be." Before he headed off into the castle.

Interrogate the Prestoner officers for any information they have on the greater Prestoner army, the mood among Preston's high command and it's movements

Ambros made a slight smile. "The Hatcuri has a way with words Jonathan. You may speak to the officers after our dear Spymaster if you wish to. But..."

What to do with you?

Flavia seemingly had not decided yet...

"Tell me Jonathan, what made you come here now?"

"I spent years wandering abroad, adventuring." Jonathan shrugs, "I arrived home, in Sheepstead, and heard tales told of a Princess, rising in the south. I long thought the line dead, and, with my mother having passed, I decided to investigate her claims."

Glancing toward the door, he continues,"I found some hotheads hungering for glory, and some old veterans who wanted to feed themselves on a war, along with a few men I had accumulated and set out."
