Zombie, how was Cheeetar defending Tiruin? Is your only reason for voting her just to tie up the vote?

Did you see the thing I quoted? Its subtle, but Cheeetar's discouraging people from voting Tiruin by making them do some extra work and examine their own cases. It's probably partially responsible for Scripten unvoting Tiruin. Also I remember that Cheeetar didn't like UXLZ's request for me to delay claiming so we could confirm Tiruin's N2 action.

I'm voting Tiruin because I think she's scum which would make her a better lynch than Toaster who I don't. I kind of want to see if Shakerag will come to Tiruin's defense again by voting Toaster.

I don't understand what you're saying there. Should players not be able to justify why they're voting for someone?

Oh, no. The cardinal sin of Mafia games- asking people to explain why they think somebody is scum. How dare I. This is the most scummy thing I've done so far. FoS Cheeetar.

I'm voting Tiruin because I think she's scum which would make her a better lynch than Toaster who I don't.

Why do you think she's scum again?

Sorry I haven't posted in this game in a while, been doing other stuff in RL and frankly, I don't really know where to go from here much.

I'm fine with Jim's plan although having the two protective roles not protecting is a bit of a downside.

From what I've seen today, I'd like to see Zombie Urist get lynched as he has really seemed scummy from his posts today, the whole thing about claiming Cheeetar was defending Tiruin when asking for reasons stands out to me because it just happened but a few more things stood out to me as being odd, I just need to go find them again.

We have maybe 3.5 hours to go. I'd like people to reconsider voting for Zombie Urist. I am going to sound a lot like NQT when trying to convince you of this: Basically, ZU is the easiest person to confirm has done a night action ever. Anybody he blocks is told that ZU blocked them, even those who weren't going to be doing anything that night anyway. If you were afraid that he might try to claim he was going to protect a scumpartner and then perform the night kill with them backing him up, Tiruin could telepath ZU and if it doesn't come up as protect he didn't block anybody. I'd really much rather lynch Toaster instead, who fits tidily on a scumteam with ZU and also has the risk of being an Enchanter, which could royally screw things up for town.

Proposed night plan instead of Jim Groovester's:
Persus13 protects Deus Asmoth.
Deus Asmoth protects Persus13.
Zombie Urist blocks Scripten.
Shakerag tracks Jim Groovester.
Tiruin telepaths Zombie Urist.
Jim Groovester tracks either Tiruin or Persus13.
Me, UXLZ, Scripten: Nothing.

Reasoning: DA/Persus13 immune assuming neither are scum, Shakerag confirms he didn't perform any night kills prior by confirming who exactly Jim went to, if Tiruin/Persus13 are scum they have to decide if they're lucky enough to beat a 50/50 to perform the scum kill.

Assumptions:
  • DA is definitely town, wouldn't go against the plan.
  • We lynch Toaster.
People who can still perform the night kill without potentially being found out: Shakerag, UXLZ, Scripten (if ZU is scum), me.

If Scripten gets nightkilled, it means ZU wasn't the scum to perform it (too busy blocking.)

Thoughts?

Haven't read the thread since my last post and I don't think I'll be able to before the deadline.

People, lynch Toaster. He's made all of four posts today.

Or lynch Shakerag. He's made five and all he's done is draw two pictures in MS Paint.

I'm okay with either of those lynches. But especially Toaster.

Thoughts?

I like my plan better (but that kind of goes without saying).

With so little time left in the day I don't think there's enough time to hammer out the details, but I don't think it's too important to have the protective roles protecting each other as some sort of invincible unit. Somebody's going to die anyway, right? Might as well use their actions to try and make the night as a whole as informative as possible.

I'm not going to block Scripten since he's probably town, I'll block one of Tiruin, Shakerag, Cheeetar.

Deus and Persus can protect whoever.

Tiruin should telepath Cheeetar or Shakerag, but she's probably scum for reasons I've stated and I'm not going to repeat so it doesn't really matter.

You're getting fairly tunnely for reasons you haven't bothered explaining, ZU. Um- people who know more about ZU than me, is this laziness town or scum play for him?

I've explained all my reasons already. Please be specific as to what you think is incorrect. But saying I haven't bothered explaining when I wrote out multiple huge posts explaining is just lazy on your part.

Aside: If the vast majority of your posts are quotes, and then you have a one line response of 'Yeah I guess' to most of them, that's not exactly a huge amount of investment on your part.

If Scripten is town, then the dopps won't target him anyways.
Unless you block me in the night, which would be a pretty viable reason to disagree with Jim's plan, if I'm not mistaken.
If you are town and war vet, there is literally no reason to kill you. Your role doesn't provide the town with any information at night.

Why is this so? Please list the logic behind each of these associative reads. If I'm town, why would Shakerag, Cheeetar, or Toaster be more likely to be scum? Does my eventual townflip cement a scumread in Tiruin enough for you?
People who probably aren't scum:
UXLZ - seems to be accurately transcribing NQT's things from deadchat. If he were scum he could simply just say NQT hasn't posted anything and no one would know any better.
Jim - don't think he would mention the mastahcheese protecting dopp killer if he was scum, even if the theory is totally wrong.
Persus - confided in UXLZ and Deus, both of which I think are town, so I don't think scum would do something like that. Also he claimed heroic guard which is weaker than observant guard, so scum could have assigned him to do the kill instead of mastahcheese. I suppose he could actually be a vengeful guard, but I don't think so. He also said in a PM his role was 'useless' which I can see why he would say that.
Deus - probably town for protecting Pisskop.

This leaves Shakerag, Tiruin, Scripten, Cheeetar, Toaster
Cheeetar and Toaster can't both be scum and enchanters otherwise they would already control the majority vote. Unless one of them is lying about being an enchanter, which I don't think is likely.
Tiruin and Scripten probably aren't on the same team since they've been going at it today.

Thus the only possible teams are
Shakerag, Tiruin/Scripten, Cheeetar/Toaster.

Could we talk about how lame this is? Specifically, his reads on Jim, Persus, and me and Toaster not being on the same team.
Jim: Town because he made a mistake ???
Persus: Town because he roleclaimed a weak role privately to people. I don't see this as a credible read.
Me and Toaster: Even if scum had two enchanters it would be 5 votes vs 7.

Would you care to summarise your reasons? The only ones I've seen are that you think she's scum and you want to see if Shakerag will protect her.

Thinking some more, the most likely scumteam IMO is Shakerag/Tiruin/Cheeetar.

The biggest reason I think its Tiruin over Scripten is because Scripten said he was blocked Day 2. If he were scum he'd probably say so in scumchat and not the forum thread. Also Shakerag if he actually believed Tiruin was scum he would totally be willing to tie the vote as evidenced D1, so I'm believing NQT's idea more that Shakerag voted Pisskop to save Tiruin.
