Yes, that is what I just quoted, with an assumption at the bottom. Would you please address my concerns with it?

Jim isn't town because he made a mistake, its because if he were scum he never would have brought up the mastahcheese was protecting someone else theory, even if the theory is wrong. To be fair this is the one I'm least sure about.
Persus is town because he privately sent his reads to UXLZ and Deus and those reads weren't terrible in addition to his role being 'heroic guard' and thus weaker than mastahcheese.
I guess Cheeetar/Toaster could both be scum and the game wouldn't be over, but I doubt it. Then there's possibilities of Tiruin/Toaster/Cheeetar and Shakerag/Toaster/Cheeetar but I don't think so especially now that you're voting Toaster.

It would be nice if you could provide some alternatives instead of just criticizing my reads.

The worst part of all of this is that Shakerag won.

NOTE: This post is going to be ninja'd HEAPS, since I have a chemistry class to go to and it's not quite done yet.
Eh, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting.

To be fair, Cheeetar, your response was, I believe "What the hell is this bullshit?"
Quite an emotional one from somebody who has otherwise been fairly calm, no?

I'll be here for the deadline so I can help with a tiebreaker if necessary.

Quote from: Tiruin
Subtle generalization there UXLZ. Do take in the evident notion of the time of the game when claims are done, compared to the inference given by Cheeetar. 'Usually' does not discount that kind of thinking, especially as the details and how it was claimed create and construct the credibility and believability of that behaviour

Yo, did you read the rest of the post, Tiruin-chan?

Quote from: Tiri-chan
And 'thus far' seems real vague.

'Thus far' isn't vague, it means 'until this point', and indeed, until this point the Enchanter role has had zero impact on the game sans the possibility of Cheeetar fakeclaiming and using his supposed Enchanter status to influence the D1 vote. I can't say, 'in this entire game' because I can't see the future. Maybe it will be important today? I don't know.
Enchanter's probably the easiest role (at least one of) to fake claim. The only way people will know for sure is if they decide to test it by letting the votes tie, or risk for a tie, which is usually a bad idea, and there's no night-action to verify.

Quote from: B-BAKA!rin
UXLZ, what do you REALLY think about the Enchanters, sans comparison to everyone else but their claims?

I dislike Toaster having something like, what, six(?) posts on day three but I haven't really had the chance to interact with him all that much. I keep saying that I have to look back but I've been unable to do so yet and at this point it looks like it's too late to bother (unless Meph gets delayed). Cheeetar is someone whom I initially read as town but has been acting extremely strangely (at least from my perspective) today. We also exchanged a PM chain on D2 at the end where he convinced me to lynch Pisskop (or at least gave me the final push to change my vote), however, I'm not counting that against him because I still believe that Pisskop was a better lynch choice at the time, and it was more my fault for allowing myself to be convinced..

Quote from: Tirriririririn
Are you saying that its a good notion for fakeclaiming?

I... What? I'm not saying that fakeclaiming enchanter is necessarily likely, I just think it's one of the easier roles to fake claim.

Quote from: I-It's n-not like I l-like you or anythingrin
Do you think the scumteam fakeclaimed their roles?
Do you think anyone from the Town fakeclaimed their roles?
Is there any variance as to the degree of claiming/fakeclaiming in your perspective?

Before the massclaim:

Possible
Possible but unlikely
Slight lean towards scum likelyhood.

Fakeclaiming before the massclaim is a definite possibility, and it's the reason why I'm wary of Cheeetar and Shakerag's roles. I also claimed before the massclaim, but my role is pretty obviously not fake. Either that or I'm an amazing genius.

Roles claimed during the massclaim:
Nope~
Nope~
Nope~

Fakeclaiming at that point would be a bad idea. Even the War Vet decided to go sans fakeclaiming (making his role practically useless), however, the reason why I'm fairly sure that no one fakeclaimed during the massclaim was because NQT gave me a list of all the (most likely) roles, and every single one of them matched up perfectly.

Alternatives: I'm seeing you as scum for defending Toaster, Toaster as scum for extreme inactivity, pushing Flabort hard on day 1, and general lack of impact on the game despite ostensibly being a role that only has an impact in the day game. Not really sure on the third scum, to be honest. UXLZ, Shakerag? Shakerag is more likely- I'm reading UXLZ as town for his general willingness to examine different things and willingness to tell us what's up with the dead folk.

Back to your reads:You'll note I voted for Jim for bringing up the 'maybe mastahcheese was protecting someone' thing, because it should have been incredibly obvious to him if he was the one who received the result that Mastahcheese had explicitly visited Toony's house. It's a point against him, not a point for him, given how for scum it would let them sow confusion where there need not be any (we know for certain that MC performed the nightkill, and this information helps town.)

Why is privately sending reads towny? Why is his claimed role being weaker than MCs a point in his favour?

'I doubt it' repudiates nothing. You need reasons.

There's a tie and less than an hour left.

Toaster. Toooooooooaster.

Come on, vote him.

I'm wondering if it might be sufficient as is- I'm still not entirely sure Toaster is an enchanter, and if he isn't we have the vote advantage.

To be honest, I'd probably prefer lynching Shakerag because he's barely acted better than Toaster today (and that D1 ending was ridiculous.) I'm not leaning either way with Persus.

Since I'm in a different timezone, can I get an approximate time to day end?

Meph usually tends to end the day between 10 minutes and an hour after the deadline anyway. I guess it's good to avoid vote shenanigans, but does he do it on purpose?

Toaster. No point in leaving the day on a tie if he's an enchanter, even if I'm not convinced that he's scum. At least this way we get some information out of him.

That dude was online and couldn't even answer whether he had another tracking device?

I'm inclined to change my vote.

Aside: If the vast majority of your posts are quotes, and then you have a one line response of 'Yeah I guess' to most of them, that's not exactly a huge amount of investment on your part.

If Scripten is town, then the dopps won't target him anyways.
Unless you block me in the night, which would be a pretty viable reason to disagree with Jim's plan, if I'm not mistaken.
If you are town and war vet, there is literally no reason to kill you. Your role doesn't provide the town with any information at night.

Why is this so? Please list the logic behind each of these associative reads. If I'm town, why would Shakerag, Cheeetar, or Toaster be more likely to be scum? Does my eventual townflip cement a scumread in Tiruin enough for you?
People who probably aren't scum:
UXLZ - seems to be accurately transcribing NQT's things from deadchat. If he were scum he could simply just say NQT hasn't posted anything and no one would know any better.
Jim - don't think he would mention the mastahcheese protecting dopp killer if he was scum, even if the theory is totally wrong.
Persus - confided in UXLZ and Deus, both of which I think are town, so I don't think scum would do something like that. Also he claimed heroic guard which is weaker than observant guard, so scum could have assigned him to do the kill instead of mastahcheese. I suppose he could actually be a vengeful guard, but I don't think so. He also said in a PM his role was 'useless' which I can see why he would say that.
Deus - probably town for protecting Pisskop.

This leaves Shakerag, Tiruin, Scripten, Cheeetar, Toaster
Cheeetar and Toaster can't both be scum and enchanters otherwise they would already control the majority vote. Unless one of them is lying about being an enchanter, which I don't think is likely.
Tiruin and Scripten probably aren't on the same team since they've been going at it today.

Thus the only possible teams are
Shakerag, Tiruin/Scripten, Cheeetar/Toaster.

Could we talk about how lame this is? Specifically, his reads on Jim, Persus, and me and Toaster not being on the same team.
Jim: Town because he made a mistake ???
Persus: Town because he roleclaimed a weak role privately to people. I don't see this as a credible read.
Me and Toaster: Even if scum had two enchanters it would be 5 votes vs 7.
Since I missed this the first time and just noticed this I'd like to mention something. I did not roleclaimto UXLZ like Zombie Urist claims. I did however claim Heroic Guard to Deus Asmoth via PM, but that was at the very beginning of D3.
