Seeing as kills are so fluid- you could have Jim following Scripten while being protected by Persus13 being protected by Deus Asmoth and as long as a scum doesn't stick an extra kill in there it shouldn't result in anybody dying. The only advantage of this is confirmation of Jim not performing the night kill, which means we could spend Tiruin's night action elsewhere.

Unvote Zombie Urist.

This is big. Jim Groovester, what's all this then? You've constructed an easily deconstructed night 3 plan, pushed for the lynch of any player without night actions despite the high probability that the scum team all have night powers (given the guard performing the kill) and now have conveniently forgotten what you did night 1.

I did follow mastahcheese on N1, he did visit ToonyMan, and in trying to think through all of the possibilities I did legitimately forget about it.

So, yeah, I'm an idiot.

You've constructed an easily deconstructed night 3 plan

That's not fair. There's not enough actions do anything airtight for N3. Any plan anybody could come up with would have holes in it.

He forgot something fairly important, but I know he at least didn't do the kill on N1, assuming no mind shield or something similar. I'm fairly certain that Jim is at least not lying about his role, so it seems likely to just be momentary forgetfulness. That's quite a violent reaction though, Cheeetar. Are you sure you're really an enchanter?

That's a bit of a silly question- am I meant to claim something else now, UXLZ, or did you expect me to break into tears?

It's an incredibly large mistake to make if we are to assume he was telling the truth about his role and actions night 1. Jim, why are you pushing for the lynch of players without night actions?

Nah, you just reacted really violently to forgetfulness, which I found odd (self-preservation?). Though you do seem to have other reasons so it's mostly moot.

The actual target of his investigation is uncertain but I know he didn't do the NK because NQT's investigation results of him on N1 came up as 'find'.

I'm not doubting he didn't perform the night kill, but that doesn't mean he's not a doppelganger.

Tiny query there UXLZ.
You're the Medium, yes?
You should EXACTLY (as far as I know the dead) know who did the kill @N1.
By which I mean, it must be obvious that mastahcheese was or was not the killer to you, instead of the broad speculation that 'Did MC do the kill?!' :-\

Wow. I feel like such a dunce.

I had to read over those recent posts to realize that Jim was saying that Mastahcheese was guarding -instead- of doing the night kill. I thought that he had asked Meph whether Mastahcheese had killed that night AND was guarding someone at the same time, in which case this massclaim would have been a big farce. Phew.

Tiruin:

Since you're now in-thread, could you please respond to my post here?

Meph: Are players who are killed told who did the killing? I thought I remembered the flavor being relatively ambiguous in the last Paranormal I read.

I'll try and post more once I'm at school, but for now.

Spoiler: NQT (click to show/hide)
Ehh, Cheeetar was the one other guy I was corresponding with, post- NQT. I don't feel like he's the best choice at all, given how he acts and how he perceives the game.

Tiruin is really in no position to contribute anything to the discussion, since she could easily lie about her results (either to frame someone or to perform the NK.)  The only way Jim could be anything but Find is if he performed the NK, and he'd then still be accountable for his result.  One of his scumbuddies (unless it's Scripten and Persus) could cover for him.
Err...I'm in no position to have a voice based on another person's plan? Therefore I must be lynched on the probability that I'm actually the killer instead of anything else?
...What?

And mynet actually is alive. Yes I'mr esponding to it -.-
It just sucks that somehow, you're outed as scum because of your playstyle. While yeah, I get the point that 'I may be scum due to the note that my playstyle is actually omission when scum, and my reads aren't leaning people as scum', they're really pointing towards the fact that I really can't get a scummy read on people--hence why I noted that one major bit about scumhunting and the notion of leaning towards lurkers instead of pushing cases. >_>

I've made a narrowing list with NQT over PMs--I think he quoted it, I'm unsure given the slow speed, however I did note the lightheartedness of general people here that I can't, actually, narrow down who in the midst of 'Shakerag, ZU, Jim, Toaster' or those queries who you note back there as 'scummier over the other'; duality of thought pertains to seeing either/or in this case, and neither stands out.
It's all in the big post which I should really post soon enough but gahhhh <_<

Jim, why are you pushing for the lynch of players without night actions?

I think the night actions are better spent verifying roles and night actions and limiting the source of the nightkill to as few candidates as possible. Lynching one of the people without night actions further limits that source.
