Sneak into cover but be sure to keep an eye on the monster.
((Pretty sure I'm the only one with eyes on it at this point.))
((You have made hand signals to make us aware of it, are you not?))
((Attempting to. Really depends on whether PW interprets it as useful hand signals or as me frantically waving one arm like I'm trying to fly))
I'll assume they can understand what you making "Get down" motions means.

A lot of missing character sheets here. Guess I'm just gonna have to autofail any rolls you make.

5 squares. It's muscle dependent for distance.
Though Sinew is used for aiming, so longer distances mean higher rolls.

Sneak 2 spaces west towards cover, keep visual of monster. Make hand signals or something to get the attentions of the other hunters.

Not everyone gets to cover, but everyone does at least manage to scramble out of the thing's line of sight.  Hap hides behind a large piece of debris, Illgeo and Beirus behind a small shack near the road; Tavik and Nav are still in the open, but they're staying low and quiet, and they're obscured by other structures for the moment.

The Monster, after looking around for a few more seconds, lowers itself back down and then begins moving south, along the road, at a trot. It doesn't seem to have seen you, but it's still moving in your direction. It's head is darting around nervously the entire time, scanning the area in front of it, seemingly independent of the more leisurely and smooth actions of the body.  You can hear it making an odd warbling noise, very low pitched and jittery, like high speed whalesong.

Nav is blue
Beirus is green
Tavik  is orange.
Hap is Yellow
illgeo is red
Monster is purple

Sneak 3 spaces through the building to the smaller one if I can, keep visual of the monster. If not, maintain position and watch the monster.

Since we're waiting for other posts, I'll give you a bit of an idea of how combat works.

Basically, for right now, you're all wielding weapons with a quality of 1. That means your damage is a roll of muscle x1. High quality weapons would, obviously, give you greater bonuses.

Creatures have a set HP that is divided up amongst their parts. Do enough damage and you'll render that part inoperable or severed. Which is fatal, for the head or upper body. Lower body won't kill it instantly but will basically fatally injure it. Limbs tend to have less HP then other parts so you might consider severing or destroying one to weaken the creature.

You, as characters, don't have HP. Instead the creature, if it attacks you, rolls a d20. The severity of your injuries depends on the number rolled. The ratios are determined by size. Large, which is what this creature falls under, has a 10% chance of leaving you completely unhurt. And a 15% chance of injuring you fatally. The Largest chance it has is a minor wound.

Injuries are simple:

4 minor injuries Become 1 major
3 major injuries become 1 Crippling
2 crippling become 1 fatal

Minor: 1-3 dice lost, spread between stats randomly
Major: 2-5 dice lost, spread between stats randomly
Crippling: 10 dice lost. Randomly chose one stat to lower. If that stat hits
zero, lower another until loss is complete.
Fatal: Same as crippling, but 1 dice is lost for each turn after until all are
