About tools: Will we need things that might help us survive in the wilderness (Rope, Firestarter, etc.)? Or only stuff that'll help us hunt the game?
For now, just hunting. Assume I'm gonna throw you into an environment with the animal near by and you just need to hunt it.

Tools: Meat for Bait, Rope, Headlamp.
You get a nice heavy club. It's made of something organic, a dark brownish and slightly translucent around the edges, oily and with a sheen on the surface. It's studded with spikes made of what appear to be ivory, though they ring metallically when you flick them.

You get a slab off odd, purplish meat. It looks different then normal bovine or porcine meat,made of many small tubes rather then a marbled red mass.
The rope is made of some kind of plant fiber.
The head lamp is a small oil burning thing with a reserve of oily yellow fatty liquid.

Stats: +2 Muscle +1 Nerves +2 Bone

melee weapon: Longsword

Tools: Bear Trap, Trip Wire, Rope.
Your sword is about a meter long, and oddly fashioned, seemingly made of metallic ivory. It's got a diamond shaped blade Cross section, which doesn't taper into a thin point, rather ends in a hard triangular point. It looks like stabbing with it would require a good deal of strength, or a soft target, but the cutting edge seems sharp and the weight is enough to make it a very good chopper.  It's got no guard and the grip is wrapped in some sort of sinuous material, it might even be sinew. It's springy and soft, like a handful of rubber bands.

The Beartrap is made of that same odd Metallic ivory, with a spring of tightly wrapped sinew.

The tripwire is something odder. Brownish,dried, something tightly coiled up, with the texture of dried fruit. The rope is much the same as hap's.

Melee weapon: Flambard
Tools: Flashbang(or analogue), eye and ear protective gear
You get a metallic ivory flambard. It's much like the above sword, but the blade has a wavy pattern to it and it is a foot or so longer. The waving isn't regular however, it's sort of random, like a length of cord laid on the ground, bending and turning by chance of how it fell.

Your flashbang is something metal, like a tin can, clearly re-purposed, with a light-able fuse.
The ear and eye protection are lumps of a fatty substance and some sort of dark, woven fabric to cover your eyes with.

+1 Muscle, +3 Sinew, +1 Nerves
Melee Weapon: Glaive

You get a square cut blade made of metallic ivory atop a rod of the same substance that Hap's club is fashioned from.
A similar flashbang, and a concussion grenade that looks basically identical, though more rusted. Same hearing protection too. Enjoy getting it back out.

Alright!

All of you post every turn with your character sheet (Stats and inventory) and we'll get going. Here is our map.


The larger blocks are buildings, the smaller ones are debris.

The group of you is in red, the monster, which is, oh about 3 or 4 meters tall is out there somewhere. These buildings around you are long deserted, two and three story homes made of some unrecognizable plaster like substance built up on a frame of the organic stuff Hap's club and the handles of your spears and glaives are made of. The plaster substance is crumbling away in places revealing what looks like grayish leather or perhaps particle board. The ground itself is gray and cracked, with a thin dusting of greenish moss or algae in it. This little town, despite it's abandoned state, glitters in the reddening light of the slowly vanishing sun, there's is a haze of mist and condensation over everything. Everything smells of stagnant water, mold and, vaguely, decomposition.

The road you're walking in on, the main one, seems to have even more algae on it then the areas around it, and the algae gets denser further on.
