Anybody mind giving me a quick recap of what was discussed? I read it, but...
I don't understand it.
ditto :(

Arguments about why we shouldn't be able to do things (shooting multiple arrows at once, blocking attack) coming to agreement on the picking skills idea (I think), agreeing to no playable races other than humans if it affects stats (at least, it would seem to fix the problems) and my plans for cooking everything we kill.

Okay then.
So, races are purely cosmetic.
I have no clue what to do about the shooting multiple arrows thing. Perhaps it would be possible to shoot 2? I don't know.
So, hard cap of 10 skills at first, with 1 additional skill slot per X levels.
And you intend to cook every enemy you kill. Hmm...
That gives me an idea for your 'super powerful awesome skill of Teh DOOM!'. Something similar to Kirby's Final Smash, with you absorbing all monsters in a certain area in your pot. Thing is, anything above a certain size doesn't fit, and you can't do anything during the skill.
Thoughts?

Realistically, shooting multiple arrows at once makes no sense for several different reasons. And while it's a common genre convention for action, it doesn't help the "ranged is OP pls nerf" argument much if we allow it.

Nobody was for shooting multiple arrows at once, though.
That skill that keeps being talked about is well beyond the capabilities of a human, though, and as something not being 'humanly possible' was being used as an argument against multiple arrows at once, I started immaturely pointing out why that skill would never work.

Anywho, we've baaasically worked it out.

Okay.
So, purely cosmetic races. Yay or nay? I don't think we got a clear vote on that.
1 arrow per shot, rapid fire is possible.
Also, magic would only be items, aka healing crystals, teleport things to get to towns etc.

Nothing I can think of. Well except finding out about the setting itself.

"In an age of secret oppresion our heroes must unite to break the Throne of the God Emperor and his armies of Angels and Demons. However, They have many more enemies than just the Self-Proclaimed God Emperor or his legions, for in the sea the sacred city of Atlantis has risen from the depths of the ocean itself. Legend has it, that when this happens armagedon itself is sure to come. Dangerous weather surrounds the island and no creature has yet to make it through alive or come back at all. Even the most brave sailors refuse to go near it...what or who is inside that city?"

Pulled that out of my rear.
