You decide to pile some wood to create an ambush after you check out the green camp.

Whether by bad luck or malicious intent, the green area turns out to be a sandstorm, the party is engulfed at both sides by it, and you can hardly tell up from down in the madness, much less see.

Flying above the storm as best you can, you see absolutely nothing in it, other then the swirling sands, you can still hear your teammates perfectly however.

What will you do now?

Using the ship as a landmark, you begin to shout to the rest of the party. Guiding them through the sandstorm.

You see a massive fin scrape the top of the storm, circling around, easy enough for you to see, but for anyone in the storm...

What will you do?

Ask the pirates if they know of any large monsters in this area, but try to ask in a manner that is entirely curiosity.  We don't want to be causing a panic quite yet.

How hard would it be on our mana system to enchant something to still the winds in say... A fifty foot radius?  I'm thinking it might be good to have visibility pretty soon.

"Hey, uh you guys? Are there any large monsters around here that you know about?!"

"Why?!

"Because... uhhh, GET DOWN!"

You think about using tact to prevent an ill timed panic, before realizing that this would be the perfect time to panic, and enchant the winds to be under your control.

Sand remains stuck to Quidive's eyes, blinding her!

You strike what appears to be a fin in the sand using your mass of enchanted air, you cannot actually feel the air, but that seemed like it had a bit to much give to be real.

"Interesting."

Just straight up ask about monsters with fins. At least the pirates might know what to do and not be caught off guard.

"It's a Mirage shark, they aren't supposed to get that big though, they don't need to."

"If you see a mirage shark, the thing is..."

"You're already looking the wrong way, aren't you?.."

"That's right missy, normally these critters only come up to the knee's. Thissun must have something mighty wrong with it."

The beast rears up from the sand, tossing the box laying there in the air, as if by magic, the entire thing seems to fade away, landing on the ground in a strange ethereal state.

"What a crude dance this beast performs, I could do it far better."

"Pardon?"

"There! Deep in the sand!"

You point out the spot to your teammates, making use of your shadow senses.
