> Water into *plasma* which is then piped... Lets strip some of that piping which can contain stuff hotter than most suns! (source: http://www.madsci.org/posts/archives/2001-02/983243860.Ph.r.html )

> Hmm this is basically a steam jet... wonder if we can seal a pipe section at one end, then mix ground magicite, clay, and a bit of gunpowder to get it started, and get an SRB...

You give all the pirates Sword chucks and alcohol as reward for their good behavior, as they drink it the high speed swinging becomes more and more dangerous looking, but not a single injury occurs, strangely enough.

You strip off a section of pipe, the hard water buildup is unimaginable, but nothing usable remains in it.

You have the pirates take two of the coffers from a couple of rooms back to carry excess loot.

"Magicite is fairly common, In fact, It is one of the prime minerals at Goddess road, if I had enough magicite I could probably begin repairs on this ship for that matter."

You replace the pipe back to it's original place.

Nighttime is here, better let it in before it breaks our doorbell... freeloader.

What now?

Turn to grey cloak blue girl. Ask her where she is from and ask her how we can help her.

Assuming we haven't done so already.

((Oh! I didn't mean getting the  plasma itself, I meant getting the pipe. Which we apparently did then? ))

((What do you mean by "hard water"? Ice? deposits of impurities like salts? Crystals of Water-magic nodes?))

Removing the pipe is as easy as unscrewing it, but adamantine is well known for being nigh indestructible, crafting a shield out of any of it would be nearly impossible with the tools you have.

"My name is (Name), I was sent by my father to learn the ways of the princess and maiden. in order to best fulfill my... goals."

The way you could best help me would be to take me to Lady Lover, the queen of Plothole, the city of demons.  While her Kingdom and subjects can be displeasing, she is well versed in the ways of grace and civility."

"Lastly, I myself am from the tinkerer's district of Goddess road, I was, raised, there all my life, and would be more than able to assist you in any business you have in the districts."

"And as an afterthought, my observations while on this ship lead me to believe that it could very well be functional even in it's ruined state, and that the pirates were able to find large amounts of fuel by attracting a certain type of monster that hoards it in a special pouch on it's sides."

"It's true, while they are nasty little things, they are chock full of magicite, just about any kind of flammable substance will attract the little devils."

The Buildup is of impurities, such as calcium, minerals, and salt.

The broken equipment appears to be made of a variety of different things, glass, wood, iron, small steel bits, springs and sprockets and gears and wires and pipes and gaskets.

While you could smelt the broken equipment using magicite, you do not have any equipment to do anything useful with the molten metal, you think anyway.

Searching all the places it might be, you unfortunately are unable to find any magicite for your plan.

Oh, uh.  Ask everyone about the monsters that have/eat magicite (I can't remember), then begin the hunt!

Also, where did our little flame friend go?  He and our prey appear to have the same appetite.

"Common monsters that possess magicite are pepper knights and the rare pepper king, you can also find it in ancient machinery, and very rarely, exposed veins."

Two things to keep in mind are merchants who can have some for "Sale"... whatever that is, and a group of sand pirates, pricks have a magicite detecter for their sand submarine, and steal it from us whenever they can."

"If you get too much magicite in one place, they will know it."

You look out to the horizon with your party, ready to hunt, you see several things on the horizon, and mentally color code them.

You could go to one of the blurs on the horizon, examine one further in an effort to divine what it is, or try to set some bait, you believe they mentioned pepper knights being attracted by flammable substances.

After a while the sand on the horizon takes a silvery color.

Your flame friend is in a lamp in your inventory.
