I mean, he was right to be suspicious, considering who Murcheadh is, and if Cheru had answered the door I have doubts he would have waited even as long as Kyle did to slam it in his face(distrusting kelpies is rarely a bad idea. Being rude to them is also a bad idea, unless you're immortal.), but he didn't really have a reason to, as it was.

Also, for those interested: Because the Welsh are ridiculous, as are the Irish of Times Long Past, Cait Sidhe is pronounced 'kay-th shee'. Cu Sidhe is pronounced 'koo shee' I believe, though I could be wrong.
