I suppose it's not limited to antagonists and protagonists though. I mean, I'm sure that dragon we killed was having a horrible day but we went right along like nothing happened.

It's just that a horrible or paranormal event for one of the characters is business as usual. But yeah, I believe it's a trope.

I also believe my GMing style is becoming clear.

And yes, there will be sad times, and I may have to consider making the Cu Sidhe one of my characters once it all wraps up because he's pretty fun to play as. Romantic interests might be...interesting, to say the least. Plus, him and Cheru could sniff each other's butts.

Cu Sidhe have candy-cane striped hair, in my mind. He's also fairly nice looking, if a bit restrained in his guarding accoutrement. I'm just trying to figure out how to play them correctly. They're smart(many excellent scholars are Cu Sidhe, and I keep wanting to write it Cu Sith which is the welsh/celtic version, instead of the irish/gaelic I'm trying to mostly keep to), but a lot of people think they're dumb because they prefer life to be simple and uncomplicated, so they don't make huge plots and stuff like that. Which is why you rarely seem them as business leaders of wide corporations, or nobles of any sort.

Explaining some background lore for Nomad-senpai(hah I used it in it's proper man hahahahhahahah! ):

The Blossom King is one of the titles for the High King of the Spring Court, of which Tia is presumably a member, and he would be above her mother(she's a monarch, so she's pretty high in the Court, but he's a High Monarch, which is above even her) in rank, but they're probably good friends.

Tia would not have heard of the dispute about the Delta, most likely, but it's the type of thing that happens a lot and is a primary cause of stress for the better upper-class nobles(as in ghe ones who aren't dicks). The ones who are dicks are the ones who cause this shit.

Over the Hill refers to the mortal world, since right now Tia's in Faery(and that's the biggest reason they drugged her, actually; every Court has a unique way of getting in and they didn't want an outsider knowing their methods; so far they haven't had to actually be hostile, after all)

So question: Is she just gonna let the Cu Sidhe get reamed for 'inappropriate behaviour'?

He's a dick, but that's partially because most nobles are dicks, and he has to deal with them all the time.

No, he technically doesn't have royal or even noble blood, by the way, or at least no more than any Kelpie. He got to his position as a Lord of The Sea and advisor/confidant/lieutenant to the Queen through merit. And the Queen's assistance once she bound him with his Name.

A Sylph is indeed a type of Fae. In my lore, anyway. Usually associated with the Autumn or Spring Court, though of course they can be found in all four.

For reference, the Courts are:
The Spring Court, ruled by the High King of the Rains, also known as the Blossom King, the Thunder Strider, or the
The Summer Court, ruled by the High Queen of the Sun, also known as the Burning Lady, the Phoenix Queen, or the

Unless Miaka is a princess or the like, she doesn't need to worry. Even then, she wouldn't really need to because the Winter and Autumn Courts are on fairly good terms with one another at the moment.
