I think 100 points is enough. You'll probably get more from XP anyways.

Partially, I think, because more stats means it's harder to focus specifically on one stat like certain characters need to do to be successful/fit their flavor. Like Ton. Or an air elemental. Dexterity gets split into Skill and Speed, Endurance and Strength become Vitality, Strength, and Defense, Magic becomes Mana and Magic, and Mind becomes Resistance.

yes, but characters can have a higher mana pool but they could also have more magic power. They could have large amounts of armor but could also have different HP amounts that don't scale with how much armor they have. People can be really fast on their legs but some also have really good aim and dexterity.

Or we could switch to Gaiden's system?

Oh, I know that it's like that, I'm just saying with those systems, since you're rolling a 1DX where X is your attribute, instead of a 1d50+X, it's a lot harder to leave attributes low and still be effective.

You can't really do much with a really low attribute, which is how it should be.

Yes, but it should not completely fuck you over if you have, say, a five in skill. You should still be able to hit the broadside of a barn, and if you surprise someone you should still be able to avoid missing.

Plus there's the whole issue where having high skill means you can hit well with every weapon you use, which is silly.

Don't get me wrong, a 1DX system is pretty cool, self-balancing and all, since each point gets you progressively less and less, but having a low stat shouldn't completely fuck you over.

I'm slightly hoping that numbers means that Kyle's about to get stat screens for them.

For the record, I'm working on three plots simultaneously right now, and plan to up that to five within the next week or so.

And only like two of them have anything to do with each other.

And it shall be a blaze of glory.

Also, it's more like the plots are taking turns in the fire; it's hard to run them simultaneously, though I can plan them simultaneously.

Edit: On the other hand, I feel like shit right now for whatever reason and it's humid enough to drown small insects, so maybe multiple plots isn't the best idea.
