I have multiple wins offline (>3 runes but no 15 rune wins) with a variety of characters and one win online in the last tourney. I'm not sure how much time I'll have during the tourney though, so I think it won't be a good idea to take up a spot in the expert team just in case I become too inactive. Also would prefer not to captain for the same reasons.

Yay, tourney time again. Hi folks. I managed to hold my own in the Champions last time out (2 wins), but haven't won since (lots of Vault/deep D runeless deaths ), and won't have much time to participate, so if you could stick me on the Blacksmiths I will try to at least find time to kill a few characters, maybe pick up a rune or two.

Edit: I would be vogonpoet on CDO, but CDO seems to be lagging on the 0.13 front, so I guess I will be vogonpoet on CSZO instead, until I can make the swap to my euro server of choice.

Yeah, the only thing you need to do to be captain is instead of
# TEAMCAPTAIN nameofcaptain
you have

   Also with this the Blacksmiths only need two more people to be full. Of course if we can't get more (I highly doubt that but) I can join in that team. Hopefully though we can manage to field at least 2 teams. Also the level of expertise for the different teams is just so we can stack the deck and hopefully get a team in one of the top spots. You can go as low as you want. Also with more people we will probably move some people around, either up to Champions or if they don't mind down to Miners. I would like for us to have a good come back in this tournament as in the one I played in (2010) we actually had a team in 9th place.

You can put me in a team if you like; I have won in the past but haven't played for ages and can't guarantee I will play much during the tournament; if I do play, any points I score might as well go to a Bay 12 team (if you're short of players), but I can't promise anything.

   I will place you in Blacksmiths for now though if it fills up and you don't mind I will probably move you down to Miners with me. CDO or CAO doesn't matter as long as you put the teamcaptain line in the one you use during the tournament.

   Good to have someone else on my team. As for your friends I don't mind if they join in on the team though if possible I would like to keep the Champion team (If we manage to assemble one) as mostly people from Bay12. At this point the Blacksmiths are almost full but if they are at that level some of them can be moved up or down depending and of course the Miners and Soapers both have room.

Ha, lots of ex winners wanting to avoid the heat of the Champions eh? I don't mind being bumped up if necessary, but it will be a minor miracle if I manage to scrape a win this tourney...time will be short, apart from anything else.

Forgot to say earlier, cheers Al for setting up this thread, and nice work on trying to cajoule people into playing... Hopefully some of the bigger b12 players will crawl (ha) out of the woodwork...

   That would be a typo on my part. The title of the thread has the correct date in it. I have no clue how I turned 11 into 27, what with the 7 being nowhere near 1 and that the 27th is not in any relation to the 11th. Also if your friends are at Miners level then its no problem. We have a lot of slots still open there.

   Welcome aboard, with you we have a full team. If anymore people want to join in at the Blacksmith level we will probably be bumping someone down at this point though if we get some people in Champion level it will probably be an upward move instead.

   Winning is not required, Champions is just those who have won and can possibly win. If you don't its not a problem. If we get a few people who want to be in the team and someone else wants onto Blacksmith I will move you up to it. As it is though I much prefer a full team to a lot of them.
