You can always try to rewound him so he gets taken to our makeshift hospital, or failing that dfusion has a heal command if you feel we really need to keep him alive, though I'd rather we avoid such things.

Does said human have a bedroom? Sometimes if they don't have anywhere to sleep, I get the exausted ailment. But when I had that happen, they had a bed that was inaccessible (because she couldn't stand or move for some reason)

Jee wilikers, I think Highmax is near invulnerable, must have been dunked in the river styx like achilles was.
Just make sure he wears a boot.

I tried this and all that accomplished was them falling on their face after moving a step. I'll bet the "rest" job was interrupted by the damned birds. Also, given our whole "not gonna get replacement migrants" thing, it would be preferable to keep him alive.

Yeah, that gets important...

Every drop of human blood that is loosed from the veins of the living is a wound that not even time can truly heal. Our only hope is in the blessings of fertility and the young. The children are truly our future.

Man this thread is making me overly dramatic.

You don't know how amazingly !!FUN!! these kinds of fortresses are. I have a similar one without humans. I had to literally go Fallout-vault just to escape the Jotun (fortress defense mod though). It does get very intense though.

Can I get the totals of Males/Females/Children?

I can say off the bat we had no children at the end of my turn. No married couples either since no one was a historical figure.

Most of the town had a lot of free time during my turn since I didn't have a huge amount of work needing done other than construction so I expect a few relationships are building up.

No, no, no... What you do is:
Step 1: LOCK THEM IN THE ROOM WITH ALL THE BOOZE AND FOOD! (preferably burrows)

Step 2: TURN OFF THE HAULING LABER

Step 3: FRIENDS/LOVERS/MARRIAGES

Step 4: BABIES

I just checked the figures for the end of my year:

Splint and Grim were in Love

An accountant and a maceman were also in Love

That is all.

EDIT: It would appear my human is female. Oh well.

Wow, splint had no luck in my fort (four men, rest women. Splint was a woman and unlucky to be in the range that doesn't match the last man whos left).

Funny really that the last time I checked my spear skill was higher than his.
