"Well, at least I know what we're up against. You might return to your room. I will make sure to lecture my guards and servants that you're not the assasin we're looking for. Forgive them for the.. rough handling of this affair. Good night."

: "Well, I would appreciate the help gettin' back, if only so I don't wind up on the other side of the world...but right now I'd rather travel with y'all. I'm having fun despite the whole 'serve us or die' thing, and y'all are good company."

"Yep, see ya in the morning." Sheila said, and then turned away to head back to her room. She opened the door and flopped onto her bed. Okay now. What was all that mess about?

MORNING~~

Mercenaries were woken up by the servants bringing food for the breakfast; bread, meats, butter, and watered down wine.

They, surprisingly, weren't disturbed until they were well past the breakfast - a single guard arrived, saluted to them and began speaking.

"Leo the Priest is called to Duke's office. According to Duke's direct orders, the rest can exit the castle and spend the time in the city until afternoon meal, when they're asked to come back for a meeting. You also cannot leave the city's gates. Priest, this way." The guard didn't wait a moment longer and left the room, walking down the corridor.

[Culise]

"I dunno 'bout the rest of you, but I'm going to get ready by looking for a fresher weapon.  I've a job's profit lookin' to be spent, after all."

[Taricus]

: "What sort? I could probably point you in the right direction."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"I wonder what it is now. Regardless, I'll catch up to you guys later."

Leo made his way to the duke's office...

Sheila moved to intercept the Priest. "Hang on Leo, before you go, we should probably split the fee from the last job. I'd like to see if I could find anything worth picking up, but I'm broke except for that coin you gave me to practice with."

[Culise]

: "What sort? I could probably point you in the right direction."

"Spear or a sword; I'm handy with either."

[Taricus]

: "There's a few weaponsmiths around the market, but those tend to sell the cheap stuff for militias. For the good stuff, Either the weaponsmith's guild, since they have a monopoly on the majority of the weapons production in the city. If you need some more... Esoteric lances, try the singing spear. Can't miss the sign. And for ore exotic swords, try the Dervish." Sara said, somehow being rather attentive while she spoke.

Leo glanced at Sheila.

"Oh, yes, right, of course. One moment. There's 12 of us, I have 3450... That's enough for everyone to have 280 coins. I'll hold on to the remainder for the moment. If you need some of what I have left over, come find me after I've dealt with this."

Leo gives everyone 280 coins, leaving himself with 370 (if my math is right).
