Jewel looked at the passed out Angelborn, Renn, his friend Rurail, then back to the passed out Angelborn. The elemental sighed and pinched his nose with his gauntlet-ed hand, a gesture he picked up during his time here. "Stupid fight. Anger." He sounded tired, made a vague gesture at the word anger at the general area. "Done present." Normally he'd happily greet his friend, but right now he just feels annoyed. "You ally quest?" Jewel addressed Rurail, hoping beyond hope that he was indeed so that he'd have someone familiar with him during the voyage.

Renn sort of coughed. Not to get attention, but because he had to.

"You two friends and quest allies. Lucky you."

Another cough, followed by him thumping his chest.

"Last ally... he be strange. But true adventurer."

I sure hoped that was legible Tradespeak. Wait, is legible a word for speaking, too...?

Rurail smirks & nods at Jewel, then:

Indicates the angelborn, addresses Renn:
"Ally?" -puzzled

As Rurail pointed to the unconscious angelborn, Jewel spoke up. "Thales Aranis. Quest ally." After the moment has passed and Jewel has calmed down a bit, he gave a broad smiled at his friend. "Joy you quest ally, many fortune." With that, the elemental rooted around in his bag slung over his shoulder, pulling out a square chunk of rock, and looked at it with an appraising eye.

Rurail looks back at the angelborn, Thales? He shakes his head & turns back towards the other two.
"Same feelings, many fortune.", smiling

He then goes to confront the rifleman, retrieving his discarded halberd and stopping just outside striking range.
Addressing the rifleman:
"I'm Rurail. Are you his friend?", indicating the angelborn.

Nathan smirked, then burst into laughing. ''That twit has no chance of having friends!'' As he slowly stopped laughing, he held out his hand for a hand shake. ''Nathan Cadfael of Silvercliff. I am to be your comrade on this journey.''
He was thankful he had gloves on though. Atleast to handshake the fishman.

Jewel watched the two chat, listening in as he looked the rock over again. With no flair or indeed any action to deem it out of the ordinary, the elemental brought it to his mouth and he took a bite out of it, a loud crunch ensuing, followed by more muffled crunches as Jewel chewed the piece he bit off. He was impatient to start his first quest, still surprised he got chosen, and hungry. The elemental figured he could at least solve one of those problems rather readily.

Swallowing, he pointed the rock towards the human, now missing a chunk with only bits of fragments showing where it once was, and spoke. "Comrade be ally?" Jewel had heard that word before but it never really clicked that it might of meant ally until now, and he's always happy to try and learn new words. Following that they were Tradespeak appropriate, that is.

Jewel had no comment about the Angelborn beyond helping prop the wounded man into a more dignified position than face down on the floor. "Health on ship?" The elemental asked Renn as he brought out a stoppered flask, inside of it what looked like a thick, greenish haze that ranged in intensity from the bottom to the top. He shook it a bit until it looked like a more uniform light green, not to dissimilar to the color of his moss hair, although a slightly lighter shade.

''Uhh... yeah. Comrade's like a friendly ally.'' Nathan tried to explain.

(The fishman paused for a moment, swapped the grip on his halberd and closed with the human, hand outstretched.
Shaking Nathan's hand, the fishkin says in a much quieter, more personable volume:
"I aam pleased to make your acquaintance, Nathan. More so than our other ally at least. I have but oone thing to say, and I do soo without rancor: I hope that, and would appreciate it if, next time one of us is in peril, you do more to help." The fishkin holds eye contact.)

Rurail nods at Jewel-
"Ally-friend. Brother."

''I am an assessor. I assessed Renn had things under control, and frankly, losing that angel to him would probably better us. That is the worst case of anger management issues I've ever seen or read. Rest assured, you will find me covering for you in a real battle against an actual enemy.'' Nathan replied.

"I don't much mind heretics. You're free to believe what you want and answer to the Gods after you die. But I ain't gonna stand for those who think their beliefs make 'em special."

Renn nodded at them.

"Still. I would say you should at least try to be civil to him. Do better than I did. Now, where is that last member of the party...?"

Jewel nodded to the two in turn, ah so that is indeed what it meant. "Thank you." The elemental looked at the flask with the green fluid, then to the angelborn, then back to Renn. Hm... Maybe he worded it wrong? Or maybe he didn't hear him...

"Fix health help ship?" The elemental pointed towards the aeroship, then towards the Angelborn on the ground who's probably still bleeding. "Pain fix, no help." He indicated the flask filled with the green fluid.

"Oh!"

Renn blinked. Too much drink and adrenaline.

"If fix help you happy, yes. Curse gone."

Hm... Jewel didn't get the right message across that he wished to. He pondered for a moment, before speaking, trying again, hopefully more clearly. "Flask pain fix, no health fix, Thales need health fix. Pain fix if no health fix, patch but no fix. Ship have health fix? Happy curse leave, thank you. Sorry comrade anger." The elemental felt responsible for this whole mess, he tried but failed to stop the fight.

The fishkin walks towards Renn & Jewel, having caught the conversation.
"He doesn't want the angel to die. Are Hhealers aboard ship?"
