I'm gonna have access to recruiting properly geared Conscripts and Spearmen by sometime tomorrow...  Then archers and something else the day after.

I guess I'll just see if I can gather up knights/vassals to go and beat up other people's knights/vassals...

So there's 5 lvls of road (4 being hard road, 5 paved), saw that on the m&b forum.

Turn still not done, I guess he's doing something. Maybe the next turn will happen.

Geez, how many towns do you have?! I've 7 feeding into my capital so far and I'm only a little ahead of you.

OK, I have to reload the save.
There was a bit of a problem regarding flashfreezing, a ballistae, and a barrel of dwarven ale. Gonna fix it up.

4 settlements and only 2 of em are feeding.

Tip: You don't need to farm while being fed.

Only if you're being fed enough, how are you being fed enough with only two feeders?  Seems like they'll be unable to stabilize.

*Shrug*  Only minor food shortage right now.  Nothing horrible, yet.  I've gotta go visit em and check, which I'm actually doing now.

But... my throw-away character in the Northeast...  well there be severe starvation in the feeders.  I could actually kill off the settlements she controls actually...

This seems mighty interesting. Is there anyway to procure an invite code?

I would also be interested in the possibility of procuring the elusive invite code.

P.S. The registration site issues that plagued me yesterday have been resolved.

How do I view my battle reports?
I can see that I won(I'm still standing and my enemy is gone)

Check your soldiers, there isn't exactly a battle report yet.

That's what I did.
So there is actually no way of ever seeing the size of enemy forces? not even after the battle?
That's actually a bit disapointing

I think you can see it before by checking the soldiers at a location (there's a "details" under soldiers for each location).

On another note, 10 spearmen will be ready in 2-3 days (16 turns).

It's a bit long to recruit troops, so I guess a general organization for your settlements would be something like that :
1 Capital, with best troops you can afford, mounted or something like that (probably not the royal troops or whatever)
Some mediums towns, with medium troops (guardhouse or barracks)
And every single town with up to training ground (blacksmith, leather, tailor, I can build them in my 300pop village, so I guess it's doable nearly everywhere).

I've not looked into archery but it should be close.
