RE: pneumatic rifle: Ok yea, the accuracy on those things is also too high.  Frankly I'm mostly concerned with keeping the game technically stable, I don't have time to keep an eye on anything but the roughest idea of balance, that's why I listen when people tell me about stuff

That's two actions, 1. make the rifle also reload one, 2, drop accuracy significantly.  I think it'll be reasonable-ish at that point, but still quite good.

I used the pneumatic rifle and didn't notice anything over powering about it. It's weak compared to anything but .22 ratshot. it was taking three or four single shots at fairly close range to kill normal zombies, while a burst would generally kill one, that's about it. Definitely doesn't replace proper firearms.

If you want to balance it just make it take only bearings as ammo and add a crafting recipe for them, if they don't have one already.

Besides, whats the point of a single loading Assault Rifle? Its for assaults, single loading would make it pretty worthless for the job its named for.
