What good does twisting stuck weapons do?
« on: November 16, 2010, 02:05:05 pm »

Obviously twisting the weapon is preferable to leaving it in since you can't use it if it's stuck, but you can pull it out without twisting. Is there any advantage to twisting it in the wound? Does it increase bleeding or cause extreme pain? I've never really seen any effect.

If you twist a weapon that's stuck in an enemy's heart shouldn't that kill em?

Twisting never did a thing for me, but it's more economical than moving around to un-stick it, and requires less key presses than going through the menus to take it out.

I've never been able to lift someone like that - but I have grabbed their helmet, stepped away to pull it off, then beat them to death with it.

Or at least I think I did? I did pull the helmet off somehow...

Now that would be epic if we could put a spiked crown on an enemy's head and kill them the spikes piercing their brain kinda like jesus (No offence to religion intended)

I don't think Jesus died from thorns being pushed into his brain. RTFA

No, don't stray from the idea, hold the thought instead.

I want to push thorns into their brains, lash the meat off their bones, break their every fucking limb, nail them to a tree, tie a know into their guts, fill their throats with laxatives and then ask eloi, eloi, that dead groundhog just now seriously outdid your sonny. Make him the fourth part to the trinity, will you?

Quadnity? Or, like, the upside-down triangle inside the Triforce or something...

You could just mod in some kind of bladed whip-like weapon and imagine it as disc-shaped for a crown o' thorns.

Pain is hard to judge, but I can safely say that twisting doesn't increase bleeding.
