Aid in tent assembly, and perhaps a bonfire if feasible to the group. Use Survival(?) to aid in making the camp secure.

Volunteer for First Watch - if the time is akin to [Earth]...Or just the 'First' Watch, if anyone else wants to keep lookout.

"Out in the open, we need to find at least some place to bunk in in case something goes after us, use the natural terrain and all...even a minor depression in the ground can make a difference between life and death - unless our camps are temporary, which will then make a difference of climbing the extra yard..."

Mira moved on towards the crates, nodding at Lemanov, Hurk and Roth as she went to the supplies. Gabriel seemed pretty quiet today, or in the least focused on something. He didn't seem like chatting though.

"Do we have group rations or are we relying on what we've brought individually?"

[NobodyPro]

"The 'locals' would be unappreciative of any presence. Standing watch would be a good idea. Any volunteers?"

Mira volunteers.

"The nights can get murderously cold and dark, so we should set up quickly."

The camp is set up without trouble, the guides opting to set up their own 'bashas'. A fire is soon started and as Bernant does his best to make something edible using Imperial rations, the other acolytes form a circle around the fire.

Before going on watch, Mira asks the Seer "Do we have group rations or are we relying on what we've brought individually?"

"We've brought enough rations and water for the trip and many more days."

Soon, Mister Hurk emerges from the tent and serves the other acolytes their meal, taking Mira's over to her post. Gabriel eats quickly and turns in for the night, much to Roth's relief.
Mira peers into the darkness. Frustratingly, Iocanthos' small moon limits her vision to the range of her glow lamp and anything that would be stupid enough to outline itself on the night sky.

She notices nothing unusual.
Suddenly, Lyssian notices something moving in the darkness. She notices that it appears to be a human figure and it is walking slowly this way and alerts the others. Roth and Lemanov are the only ones who see it move before it stops, standing just beyond the light of the fire.

[Dsarker]

"Um...Um...H-hello?" says Roth.

[NobodyPro]

The figure stays silent.

[Caellath]

Lemanov sighs, prepared to [quick draw] his shotgun in case the figure decides that being aggressive is a good idea.

"Who goes there? Please identify yourself, we do not like silent strangers coming from the shadows."

[NobodyPro]

The figure stays silent.

[Gamerlord]

Allison stirs and draws his laspistol.
"Identify yourself!"

[Caellath]

The figure stays silent.

Lemanov draws his shotgun and aims at the figure. "Please identify yourself immediately."

[Tiruin]

"Hey, what's all the commotion about?" Mira said, returning to the camp after taking a glance back. "Who are you talking to? I'm not seeing or hearing anyone. A cripple or someone with a communication impairment?"

[micelus]

Wave hand at the figure; slowly approach. Stop approaching when I'm a three metres away.

"Gothic? Speak?"

[Tiruin]

"Ok...so whatever we're conversing with speaks Gothic?...I'm quite confused."

[NobodyPro]

The figure stays silent.

[micelus]

Throw a pebble at it.

[NobodyPro]

Lyssian throws a pebble and misses.

The figure stays silent.

[Tiruin]

Mira squints in the general direction of pebble thrown, to try to discern what we are all looking at. Or conversing at.
