So not that day, but here it is anyway.


You sneak your way to a crate, which you intend to throw at the soildier to knock him from his perch.

As you prepare to grab the crate, a green flash coupled with the sound of lighting appears for a moment, then the body of the soldier falls lifeless near to you.

Looking up you can see a vortigaunt standing where the soldier used to. It looks at you for a couple of seconds and then starts running towards the door on the far side of the room.

You see no vorthigiant. Only a vortigaunt. A shame, as you have long dreamed of seeing the fabled vorthigiant, terror of Xen, paragon of predators, destroyer of... wait, hold that thought, the vortigaunt (not vorthigiant) is about halfway to the door and you haven't decided what to do about it.
