Kick the punch stab and otherwise destroy the door in any way possible.

You shove your pike into the door and kick it, only to find no effect on it. ((You did in fact, just stab a door, and your kicking isn't very effective.))

((I'm afraid I wont be able to post any more updates for the weekend. So enjoy the cliffhanger.))

Check the area that produced the hollow sound by means of careful poking with the tip of the sword.

((You can get an action, you just cant magically teleport to other areas in this hard to manage timeframe.))

Rodri Pokes around on the floor, finding that the hollow area is roughly a square shape, about two arms-length across.

Continue trying to open the door, watch the creature coming towards me carefully.

(( Woho we can continue and I can get eaten by a giant bug. ))

"Girls, come here." Rodri said, moving outside for a while and waving for Lia and Annatto to follow him.

Try to search for edges, since it looks like a trapdoor. If none is found, try to lift the pieces of wood that compose the floor without destroying it.

((I love being ignored. It is a good feeling, you know?))

Lia was impatient. If there was a spellcaster, then he'd be found out by now! There should be all manners of defensive wards, even residue of spellcasting, none was seen except for that strange guardian and the old man with a book fetish.

"For a dangerous spellcaster, he really knows how to cover his tracks. I've been thinking out of the box too much that I'm not even sure where the box is anymore."

Tap the walls and listen if hallow.

"We might be accused of lawless actions and-..."

The thought sparked an idea in Lia's mind.
Wasn't this area uninhabited? Didn't nobody own this land? There was no owner of the cabins...

But then that strange man may get angered if they attacked a harmless wooden cabin.

"That may just agitate the spellcaster. Are you up for it?"

"This floor has offended me."

Smash at the hollow-sounding area with weapon. If it doesn't work, fling a blunt attack magic spell at it.

Lia taps along the walls, unable to find any hollow areas.
Rodri determines where the edges are, pulling up the rug you definitely see hinges and could lift it, though before you can Annatto jumps and sticks her spear inside of it, blasting a blunt spell directly through the spear as the wood splinters and is knocked away. Inside there is a staircase of wood, going down as it eventually leaves its visible range.

Thranduil Tries once more to get through the door ineffectually. He turns to see the creature, It's about to enter range for it to attack. ((Don't worry too much, it isn't as strong as it looks.))
((Oh, just a word of reassurance, Higher levels do get better as you go along, more than just new things for limbs. Lots of things you can find.))

((I take it that it is generally accepted that I should make an OOC thread?))

((I was talking about the OOC quotes and funnies thread :P))

"Well I'd be..." An idiot...

Why can't I ever get these things right?!

"That was...unexpected. Those with spears first, Rodri?"
