Rodri lifts a loose splinter of wood, lightly tossing it at the crystal. As soon as it makes contact it visibly becomes less dull, gaining life as if it was going back in time. Very curious indeed.
Lia examines the crystal. Something definitely strange was going on with it, in a magical sense.

Thranduil jabs his pike deep into the hole in the skull, as he pulls it out he sees the viscous green fluid that it is made of drips off. The creature damaged, but still alive. (4 damage) (This is why high accuracy is good)
Solomon, as he hums a dandy tune chops into the creatures leg as bone shards fly about. (5 damage)
Razgar charges, about to hit the creature before it raises its 'arm'(/leg/whatever) in defence, neatly slicing it off of the body while chunks of bone land and the green muck slumps motionless. (6 damage)
Jerri holds his hand up, Shooting a bolt of energy directly into its eye socket, trailing through the other end as green fluid drips from both ends, the entire creature slumping over as it cannot seem to hold its form any longer. (5 damage)

Suddenly the torches go out. The darkness only lasts for a few seconds before all light returns, leaving only a pile of broken bones and a large skull-like mask, approximately an arms length across. Not a trace of the green fluid.
