We had rough seas yesterday, so I think that may of had something to do with this.
My dream had two parts, interrupted when I woke up by my parents coming back from some bar on the cruise ship.  All I can remember from the first part was that I was captain of a German U-Boat in the Napoleonic wars, and that at one point the sub was attached to a giant rocket so I could shoot torpedoes at allied bombers on my descent back from orbit.  The second part was apparently the apocalypse, and I was a member of the XCOM research team who made a vital discovery.  Apparently, if I was to jab some sort of magical thing into my head, and then jab someone else in the head with it, then I would learn how to stop the oceans, which were flooding the whole Earth.   A few things I remember after this was raiding a research facility that had the Tacitus, which I then used to learn that I needed to go to an oil rig, where some person did some sort of ritual in the middle of a casino.  I then had to sacrifice Isac, my son from the future.  I repeatedly tried to smash the ice figurine with my elbow at the blackjack table, but the seas were too rough, and it kept falling off.  I can't remember what happened after that.

I was driving down a dark road in the middle of the night.  Above me, lights were flashing down as if from street lights except there weren't any.  I'm feeling rather lost despite the road being completely straight and lacking any sort of turns whatsoever and the darkness isn't helping.  There are no people and there are no road signs.  The sides of the road are all covered with deep forests, a nice mix of coniferous and deciduous trees.  Up ahead I see a sign and it says "slow down tree crossing."  I'm slightly confused by this but slow down anyway and as I do, a large herd(?) of trees suddenly start crawling across the road using their roots to propel forward.

That's when I woke up.

I don't think so.  It was pretty dark and there were no distinguishable faces on the trees.  Just a bunch of roots writhing around on the ground as they slowly progressed their way across the road.  It was eerily silent too and I almost felt like I was watching an old movie through my front windshield.

Last night I managed to converse with two attractive women who willingly initiated conversation, without making a fool of myself. I could tell right away that I was dreaming, such was the unlikeliness of the situation.

So I dreamt of scantly clad heavily-muscular women with faces which rivals the ones in one piece.
They were all dancing, flexing their abnormally large muscles..
Normally scantly clad women are a nice welcome in my dreams.. but.. this.. It was horrible. ;_;

Honestly, one day we should compile all our dreams and send them to some psychology students.

We would help create an army of young Nietzsche's :P

I went to bed at 3:00 AM, set my alarm for 7:00 AM.

Come 7:00 AM, I was having a dream I was playing a game with slightly complex rules, where hurting someone causes warnings to go off and you have to carefully balance those warnings with disabling or altering the warnings. Guess what one of those warnings were?

So, yeah. I spent 45 minutes sitting up from bed and hitting the Snooze button on my alarm (It's set to radio static instead of beeping), worrying briefly that my game was too loud for other people in the house, then lying down and promptly going back to the same dream. Seven minutes later, repeat, recycle.

Once I finally realized what was going on it was very WTF'ish.

Heh. Your unconscious mind did a good job at getting you some more sleep. Similar stuff like that happens to me too sometimes.

I saw myself in the dream trying to shut off my alarm once. I kept pressing the button but it kept ringing. The sound of the alarm started ringing in my head and it was driving me crazy. I woke up by shouting "hmmmm... mmaaaaaAAAH!" according to my mother.

I also developed a hatred for my mom's alarm clock. Sometimes she forgets to turn it off and it drives me crazy even if I'm actually awake. I run into the room and turn it off as soon as I can whenever it starts ringing. If it keeps going more than a few seconds, I feel like my brain is bleeding or something. I was using that alarm clock when I was in elementary school.

Something like classical conditioning I guess. I always started the day with an urge to destroy that alarm clock.

I was with a group of some of my old highschool friends and some of my new college friends. We also has some little kid with us. We ran into a mall because we were being chased by the Z's. Ran up some stairwell for about three stories. Hunkered down in a toy store. All of a sudden everyone is gone. I was sneaking about the mall. I hid behind counters waiting for patrols of the dead to just pass by. Made my way back to the toy store. Had a morningstar that I don't remember acquiring. (It's one of my favorite medieval weapons so it makes sense) Beat down some zombies that had managed to get into the toy store. Found the kid hiding in the toy store. Talked to the kid about something. (The meaning of life? I can't remember.) The kid just left me there. I ran down the stairwell, being chased by more Z's. Slammed the door behind me but they almost managed to push it open. Found the group there. Got scolded by everyone for being slow (assholes). We started walking through the parking lot. Then I woke up.

I think some of it was based off of High School of the Dead XD

Here's an odd one. I had one where the main cook at work(whom I rarely interact with, but unlike everyone else, it's alway civil) had asked me to do something involving taking a some chicken and boiling it with what I believe was apples. I don't know why. ...And I'm a little curious to how that'd taste now. :-\

Following that, I woke up because my idiot sister left the light on. Managing to fall asleep again after that, I had one where I was forced to ride with my stepdad in his truck. He was extremely pissed off(needless to say, I probably wasn't in a safe situation even before ->), and just before he started driving, he injected himself with what I swear was heroin. Note: I have never seen him do heroin and I don't believe he would.

Oh, and a funny thing about that chicken and apple dream. Last night I had chicken for dinner, and today one of my tasks at work was to wash and wrap in seran wrap some apples, though this task was given to me by that bitch harpy and not the cook.

A long and detailed dream from like a week and a half ago. I had like half of it typed out in here but I lost it.

In the beginning, my brother and I were Sam and Dean Winchester from Supernatural (I was Sam), we worked for the SCP Foundation, and we were at the wedding of Sansa Stark from Game of Thrones. My brain must have had some trouble with the setting creation.

The wedding took place on the sloped front lawn of some fancy mansion. I was in love with Sansa so I was sad to see her get married, but my brother didn't care as much. We were here primarily on business, and he was excavating a large cube-shaped chest out near the front of the lawn. Eventually he got it all the way out and called me over.

We opened it and inside was smaller box that was filled with water and contained a plastic pen. I immediately concluded that the water-filled box was a containment device of some sort and breaking it would have really bad effects. So we take it to my apartment where my brother tells me to hold on to it until we can deliver it to the Foundation.

Someone immediately drops it and breaks the box.

As it fell, I concluded the pen must cause a huge explosion whenever it touched anything that wasn't water. The box shattered, the pen flew out and hit the floor, and nothing exploded. Good thing I was wrong. My brother and I stopped being Sam and Dean around this point.

My brother left to go do something while I stayed to watch the pen. Eventually some water near it started to boil off without being hot, so I found out the pen's real effect: any time it was stationary, it created a slowly expanding field around it that lowered the boiling point of water drastically. I had to keep it moving.

Luckily I had somewhere to go. I got in my car, threw the pen in my back seat, and went to pick a couple people up to head to a party. It was two girls I know, but I no longer remember exactly who they were. They got in the back. At some point I turned onto a main road and remembered that the pen's effects could be lethal, so I leaned back and grabbed the pen and threw it up onto my dashboard. The girls were very confused since they didn't know the thing's effects.

Then I started wondering about how it worked. I realized it couldn't just be based off being absolutely stationary, because the earth itself was never stationary. So it must require an unchanging velocity to start having effects. Exactly like the velocity of my car.

At this point I noticed it was raining quite heavily and there were puddles everywhere. A van was driving over one near me, and suddenly the puddle exploded like a geyser and launched the van into the air. It happened to a couple more cars, then it happened to mine. Luckily for me, my car landed right side up so I kept driving. My passengers understandably started freaking out, and eventually another geyser launched my car up. It landed on its wheels again.

I knew I wasn't going to be so lucky next time, so I kissed my job at the Foundation goodbye and threw the pen out the car window. The rest of the drive was uneventful.

The party happened to be a high school sort of slumber party. There were a ton of people there, laying down in chairs and on beds and on couches. I think I was the only person moving around besides an adult chaperone or two. I found my brother at some point and I think I talked to him about smoking weed. No dream-weed was smoked, though.

Eventually I settled onto a couch with my ex girlfriend and a couple dudes from high school. It was a reclining couch in front of the TV. After a bit, they all pushed me off. Then everyone at the party started having sex under the covers. Luckily there weren't many details there that I need to leave out, it was just a thing that was happening and I was pretty pissed that I was getting excluded.

Then I woke up.

Interestingly, I had an episode of sleep paralysis that night. There are two possibilities of when: the first is that I woke up after I threw the pen out the window, had the sleep paralysis, then fell back asleep and dreamed of the party. The second is that I woke up at the very end of the dream and had it. I can't remember which, but I know it was one of the two.

I believe my last dream involved me (and my class) being in some sort of hotel, which had some sort of "old" theme to it.
Also, I apparently was a Spy from TF2 and there was a Heavy (with the sandvich).

And I had trouble switching from Invisibility Watch to Cloak and Dagger, since I wanted to hide in a sweet spot near the staircase (which was a sort of a notch in the wall).

And then the 6-and-below-graders from my school swarmed the place.

That was fun as hell.

I had a semi-lucid and confusing dream last night where I dreamed I was lucid dreaming and jumping between other people's dreams. I half expected the Inception theme to start playing.

Despite the fact that the dream-me was supposedly lucid dreaming I never realized I was actually dreaming of dreams and went truly lucid and gain control of what I could do. Instead I just went along for the ride under the logical assumption that "these are all dreams, they're supposed to be weird and confusing."

There was no "dream is collapsing" moment but towards the end it got really weird when a group of people I supposedly knew decided to grab the blue highlighter out of my hand and boiled it down into highlighter-goo for inhaling. I remember freaking out and raging and yelling exactly "You're screwing up the dream! Stop it!" before throwing some pieces of the highlighter at them and storming off....then I woke up.
