I was stuck in some hybrid of real life, the Cyberpunk 2077 Konpeki Plaza mission, and Lethal Company.

Had to sneak out of Konpeki plaza while monsters from Lethal company were running amok, but everything I had on me was real life stuff and my brother was there. The exception was a subsonic, silenced SMG which I was using to kill the monsters.

At one point I had to be left behind, because we were crawling through vents and it turns out I had too fat an arse to fit. I wound up having to be dragged out and hope that everyone else would make it so they'd be able to get me out. Don't remember too much else.

I had watched the most recent episode of Only Murders, which probably fed into it a bit.

Anyway, I was in some sort of hotel restaurant, and somebody nearby was discussing their ex being a creepazoid trying to control them and that when that failed the boyfriend had tried to kill them. They showed a picture.

The concierge then looked  at a picture on the wall of them and their own boyfriend, and realized it was the same person in a garish blonde wig, and they had a screaming breakdown.

For some reason the boyfriend in question was James Remar, and he walked in  and got stabbed in the throat with a fork.

This entire thing really unsettled me for some reason and I found it difficult to go back to sleep.

Don't remember the lead into the dream, just remember that I (and my family by association) were important for some vague evil Japanese guy (Who was also the leader of China?) to get a hold of something important. I spent a long time hiding various places, including the top of a cupboard where I got tagged when someone went in there with spray paint. I stayed still enough to avoid being seen despite them literally spraying me.

Anyway, all things come to an end, and I was caught. I was loaded onto a train with my family. I made a few escape attempts, but I was hindered by the fact the windows wouldn't open all the way so I couldn't squeeze through them before I got spotted. I did eventually get to a point where I got almost all the way out before they grabbed my feet, but I was able to jiggle myself free. I was in China at this point, but this was a part of China that was previously American (Apparently China had taken over half the globe), so it had a mix of ancient Chinese archaeological sites and modern American demographics/buildings. A Japanese/Chinese (As in he was both simultaneously somehow, not that I couldn't tell which) guy started chasing me down, trying to recapture me.

I ran but couldn't ever work my way to escape him. He just kept up with me, never able to catch me but I couldn't evade him either. I even tried swimming away from him (It was the dead of winter so he yelled at me that I'd get hypothermia, but I didn't feel it at all) but that didn't work. Eventually I managed to find some American guys and quickly pay them off to delay him. I wasn't able to escape, but it put more distance between me and him so the workings of a plan started. Keep finding Americans who hated the Chinese for conquering them, keep paying them to delay him until I had enough distance I could hide. I managed that, and took refuge in an ancient Chinese ruin (While loudly boasting this at him? Apparently I figured he'd not be able to work out where I was even though I told him. I acknowledged this was stupid in the dream.), but once I entered them I woke up.

I don't ever recall having dreams this vivid for a while, not since I started on sertraline a few years back.

had a dream wherein i was placed in charge of handling a young girl in a government lab.  she was of the manchurian candidate or killer android type- i didnt know quite what she could do and she was largely unaware herself.  She had a glowing red serial code on her cheek that would flash for 'mode shifts' and one of the last things in the dream was the advice that I should immediately hide from the '134sierra3 girl' and not make a sound.  My girl's serial was 134beta4, so clearly I was confused.

A "world-famous" church was invited to come and review our church. They said our lights were too bright so we had shadows, we had too many cables on the stage, and why were we playing so many old songs? But our singers were really good.

Then after our service, they had a "halftime" to serve lunch (that you had to pay for, and mostly consisted of Fun Dip for some reason) and then were going to have another 2-hour service after that as a kind of joint experience.

Then our church transformed into a 7-story high-rise (it only has a single floor in reality), and our music directory was carrying an old overhead projector up and down the stairs.  Which was a challenge, because the stairs were full of chairs. And the elevators were either broken or nonexistent (Dream architecture of course...) so you had to navigate the stairs.

Also, in the dream I had to use the restroom, but the Scarlet Witch (from Marvel movies) had taken over the building and made an illusion maze to make it difficult to find the restrooms. For example, in order to reach the bathrooms, which were only on floor 5, you first had to get to floor 7, then go down a half-flight of stairs, peel back a big velcro panel on the wall, which was hiding the door to floor 5, but the doorsill was about 3 feet above the floor. My dream did not include a floor 6.
