You proceed to check the partitions status and physical connections, you find that it is unresponsive and proceed to remove it, the big bug separates off with the phyical partition and you take it and the partition off towards 41 and find the same situation, continueing as normal find the partision is also unresponsive and remove it and the big bug attacked to it as well, you proceed on to 57 and more off colored bugs, confiming the partitions status is in fact unresponsive you remove it as well and stack them up and are carrying 3 large bugs of similarly off color, acting as you normally would you proceed to bring them to 'Phil' your floors 'server partition maintenence specialist', you walk into his open office as usual and freeze solid at not seeing 'phil' but a giant bug wearing 'phil's' clothes, "So, whats wrong with this batch?" says the 'phil' bugman.

Try to remember Phil's voice before today. Does the bug have the same voice?

Regardless, say: "Phil, these partitions are unresponsive."

You tell the bugman that the partitions your holding are unresponsive, and look down at the trio of bugs in your hands, "Just put them over there." the bugman says in a very Phil sounding voice, waving to a desktop.
You put the partitions bugs and all on the desk, and turn around. "You alright, you seem shakey today, your not on anything, are you?" Phil interjects with what can clearly be said to be an expression of inquiry on his still mustash'd smug bug face.

"I'm not on anything Phil, but I'm... seeing things differently."

"Phil, can you honestly, honestly answer a question, and not think of me differently for asking it, and not tell anyone else of this question?"

Phil looks at you, "Your on something, what is it; lsd, shrooms, salvia? You can tell me, I'm your friend, I just want to help you."

Phil tweeks his bug antenna at you, "Chill, if you say your not on anything, I'll believe you, but you sure are acting strange today."

"The reason I'm acting strangely is because things are looking strange to me. Like I said, I'm a bit suspicious that my brain has snapped.

Now, can you honestly answer a question? Do you swear not to tell anyone of this question? I'd rather not have my reputation ruined because of one bad day."

Phil looks at you with the most serious look you've ever seen from him even when he wasnt a bug, "You can trust me."

"Please don't take this as an insult. I mean no offense... But, are you a... bug in disguise?

Because I... literally see you as a bug. I want to know if my mind is snapping or if I'm finally seeing the truth."

"Thank you. I... hope I get better. I really hope I'm not down with a mental illness. Sorry to disturb you."

Go to our car while grasping our head, faking a fever until we leave the building. Then drive home.

You walk out of Phil's office, and head out of the building, you dont even get stopped by security or anything.
You walk back to the parking structure and make it to your car.
You start it and drive home with no incident.
You sit on your couch in the livingroom head in hands, before your cat interupts you, "Food?", oh thats right you forgot to feed the...

Did it never occur to us that removing the bugs from the partitions might cause them to no longer be malfunctioning? It's possible we might have inadvertently become the world's best computer tech, by being able to see bugs and easily remove them without actually having to "fix" anything.

Also...slightly saddened that we missed the chance for Skuld jokes.

Also, feed the cat.

Also, since summoning a demon is what got us into this whole mess, that therefore means we're capable of summoning demons and so clearly the best solution for our problem is to summon a demon and ask it what's going on.
