I meant the actual dialogue and story text more than anything. But yeah, any plot would suffice as long as it's described properly and it's interesting.

Okay, I've made a few more areas in Redmond Barrens.

Halloweeners

Stocker's Coffin Motel

Abandoned Building

Is anyone willing to help by ripping dialogues from Redmond Barrens from Genesis version and sharing them with me?

The save system finally caught up with me. I used what I thought was extra money to get some cyberware and then two areas later I hve to hire a team but don't have enough money, since it was two areas ago, I can't go back and not buy the stuff. Ugh. 7 hours into a playthrough.

You can go back, there's "rewind" option.

I hope someone helps you out, Deon. I'd offer but to be honest I'm so awash in things like this I'm supposed to be doing that I'm honestly not good for it, heh. Also, I think I lost my copy of the Genesis game.

However, this full dialogue dump might help:

I actually finished the game with cash to spare.

I've started with security etiquette, later picked up shadowrun and corporate. No problems with dialogues.

Etiquettes don't really matter. You will use it maybe once or twice in the game, probably for a flavor dialog option.

I found out they saved me quite a bit of time.
And I dislike not having unlocked options.
Next time, definitively putting points in Decking too.

Actually, Shadowrunning etiquette is used a bunch of times, though only to get a bit more money from your Mr. Johnson.

I picked Street. I used it *once*. To avoid killing a guy I wanted to kill anyway.

I agree about Decking. It's the Lockpicking skill for this game. My Samurai learned Biotech, I don't think I use medkits that much and the healing bonus doesn't really matter...

Also, Melee weapons kinda suck compared to a nice SMG (so far feel like the best guns, compared to shotgun or rifle).

I have tried every etiquette through 3 characters and they are all super well balanced in the main campaign. If I remember correctly, each one can come into play 2-3 times and each one is negligible in effect. I think if I was going to play through the main campaign again, I would not put points into etiquette.

Define "a bunch of times." Literally, I have seen it in use once.

When I used Shadowrunner Etiquette to:

I kinda figured that was the best it was ever going to get.

It's stuff like that, that makes the actual RPG side of SRR seem so weak. I mean seriously, all that jibba-jabber and they couldn't work more ettiquette options? (Or, for that matter, more non-Matrix places where decking has a purpose? Found exactly one door that's opened through decking so far.)

I mean, future modders will do better. But the absence of most of that stuff in Dead Man's makes me wonder exactly how much time they took with the campaign. Because playing through, it feels like very little at all.

Um, you can pawn several things you find Decking or as hidden loot to him, like info on corps, or gems, and each time he gives you like 500-1000 cred extra with Shadowrunning. Plus that mission he gives you.

I really liked all the hints about the Universal Brotherhood at the beginning, that they were working as one und such things, because when you knew what really happened that was funny to read. But when they became more involved in the story it felt kinda cheap. I very much prefer runs that are not so high profile. I like it when the runners are ignorant of what is really going on behind the scenes. Not every runner needs to meet with the likes of some immortal elves and near legendary deckers.
That elf had was really bad in combat, too.

I've seen a corp etiquette for better pay, that's the only thing I remember from that guy.
