I have absolutely no time to play these days, but might be back on in a week or so if things cool down, at least I hope so!

Isn't the free Wurm really, really, really shit, dumbed down and restricted?

In any case, I'll check in when I get back on Thursday from France.

Thought I'd post some screenshots of the new area that we've settled in.

So, as you can see, it's pretty well flattened. Conall did most of that. :D

The plan is to dig it down enough to have about 20x20 or larger, if possible. Once we've dug it down, we'll plant the deed and get to work on construction.

We'z not digging an underground fortress? ;-;.

Also, anybody online? I fancy to pop my head in, so if any Steam-ers can add me to show me where you're at? The guide is pretty... hit and miss, by the sounds of it.

The chat window is extremely small, so small the option to make it bigger has dissipated. How do I fix it?

try to double-click on the small horizontal part it is visible. Wurm is so ingenious to use double-clicking to hide windows.

Otherwise no clue.

I'm installing Wurm now, i've always been curious about the game, but never tried it.  Any advice for being useful as a true noob?

Grab the compass. < < <

Don't forget to equip weapons not activate them.

Remember almost everything can kill you, so it's actually best to run.

Don't despair if you can't get to where they're based. These guys are very helpful, so let them guide you.

So i'm beyond the mogul mountains, from the directions it seemed the base was at r-14 on the OP map 2, but I can't find anything that matches the screenshots

Wait, where is this? Is this still the old site by that Monastery? Did we leave?

we left, serg. We don't want to pay, and we don't want to risk further conflicts.
Ask anyone of us in game for instructions.

At least we kindly asked (or well, pressured) a squatterer to pack up and he made a new deed yesterday.

I modified the directions in the OP to our new area. I also added directions from the old base if you're still there.

For those who do not feel confident enough to climb (though it is easy now):

Go past the rock steps by the right (south, towards the sea) side of it. you'll see a long rock slope with a few patches of trees on it. You should be able to leapfrog on these patches.
