It's not until 19th, though, and if Rae keeps her experience she's only almost 11th, so I'm not going to be seeing that for some time. ^^^; Nevertheless, starting work on it now. Hmm, stick with greatswords or find something else...

Quick Question: Would Monkey Grip allow me to use a two-handed weapon in one hand?

Monkey Grip : Can use a two-handed weapon in your right (or otherwise ) hand.
Improved Monkey Grip : Can use two two-handed weapons if you like; as in, your off hand too.

So yes, in a way.

All right, thanks. ^^^ I think I might go with a Large Bastard Sword for a nice 2d8 damage when combined with Monkey Grip... unless Improved Monkey Grip would let me wield an even larger one one-handed, in which case I'll definitely have to make room for that. >.>

That's not how monkey grip actually works. But it's not really OP or whatever to let it do so.

Nah, it's cool. I don't mind being corrected when I don't know something. ^^^ Also in relation to that, it looks like Lighten Weapon (type) + Monkey Grip would have the effect I was talking about. I'm not sure if Lighten Weapon is legal or not, so I figured I should ask.

So, may I suggest using img.ie to upload pics onto the thread? I can see it from any other computer except this one.

Lighten Weapon (type) + Monkey Grip

Well, they don't stack. But it looks like lighten weapon would do what you want anyway. It looks like someone said "Hey. What if Monkey Grip actually did what so many people think it does?" And then they wrote that feat.

Damn it. I didn't see that when I first looked at it. :\ Oh well. I could still grab Lighten Weapon and consider a Large-sized bastard sword as a one-handed slashing weapon, although I could just grab it and still use greatswords. It would save a feat although it would be 2d6 as opposed to 2d8. Hmm. :\ Guess I'll do that so I don't have to change her current equipment that much.

Actually, better idea. Lighten Weapon + Oversized Weapon Finesse so I can take advantage of Tenken's Superior Finesse ability with a huge greatsword.

Having done some time zone calculations...
Skyrunner's at GMT -5, I'm at GMT -6. So 4:00 for her is 3:00 for me, my last class ends at 3:20 PM, and it takes me about 30 minutes to bus home. So I'll be about an hour late. =\

Yeah...what were we looking at fighting today?

I remember something about a Nightwalker destroying a bunch of adventurers. I was sort of crashing last session, so I can't really remember.

Yep, it was a Nightwalker. ^^^ Also, I completed my edits, and I think Rae can hold her own now. Since I changed a lot and sold back her equipment because of it, my Greatsword had to be downgraded to +2 (since that's the max we can buy, and I got a new one to be Huge) but between the 10k that saved and the 15k or so I had paid for the +3 Elven Chain I was able to pick up a lot of good +2 enhancement items. :3 I also have my macros updated and everything.

There are so many things that I would say no to about the Tenken class, but I think I'll leave that up to Sky.

She already approved it a page or two ago. ^^^

Sounds fun and exotic.
The astra ability acts just like the time stop spell, just with a different name :3 It does seem like you'll have to re-roll.

Might seem like a silly question, but after ending last session in a safe zone and having missed two mini-session, I assume Rudra can rest to restore hp and spells?

Does he also get some off-screen downtime to scribe spells (from scrolls) into his Blessed Book?
