Yeaaah, I don't know what to do about it either. >_>

In theory, if Rae stays roughly the same alignment, it can be worked out between us.

@Sc: Are you interested in a Ranger/Scout type of character? Arcane Archer could fit into that. We could use a sneaky char to supplant/back up Tali.

Nah, not interested in stealth or Ranger. ^^^; That and you need to be a wizard or sorcerer to be an Arcane Archer, divine magic doesn't work.

Hmm, so let's narrow it down.

Are you looking to be ranged or melee, SC? or Balanced?

Are you looking to use spells?

I can see one prickly point, where if SC plays a full on caster, then 3/5s of our party will usually be made of squishy spellflingers.

Well, just before I joined up I thought the party was 3/4 rogue, so being polarized isn't necessarily a bad thing...

We don't exactly have a tank, do we? If need be can I dual-wield characters Sky? I want to keep using Luke, but we'll need a tank.

I'm more in the line of looking for something interesting to play that doesn't have things I have to keep up with all the time. Like with Ranger I have to remember "OK, got +2 to a couple of rolls against this type of enemy and +2 damage to them, but against THIS kind of enemy I have +4s because I boosted it when I had the option, have to move and attack with my animal companion, I have two spells left this encounter," etc.

Basically I'd rather play a class that doesn't have more than few things I'd have to keep up with (for example, I would prefer Sorcerer or Favored Soul over Wizard and Cleric so I don't have to remember about preparing spells and, I think, material components? Are Sorcerers exempt from that?) than one that's really powerful but you have to keep referencing things. I'll need to go through all my books and see what I can find.

@Ninja shoruke: heh, indeed. ^^^;

Heh, material components are quite literally fluff. No need to worry about them unless it's a big ritual type of thing that actually costs alot of money.

As for Sorc and F. Soul, they're just like Ria's Spirit Shaman-they cast spells spontaneously. So you pick certain spells and pretty much just have them ready.

If you go Favored Soul, we could sync our sudden Godliness to that up with the one level dip Rias going to take into Cleric soon. And Divine casters tend to be a lot less squishable.

Not quite. It allows a DM to imprisoned casters without using higher level stuff or just outright killing them.

Don't forget Solifuge's character is a Knight, so she's a kind of a tank too. ^^^

Soul reforge yes.

Sorcerers are easier to play than wizard/clerics. Few spells, no prep. Also squishy.

I have bad news and worse news. Which one first? O_o

Therefore, there shall be a decree stating that: All item selling shall be done on the forums-the DM will create an RP forum specifically for that. I cannot waste any time on buying, selling and appraising!
Also, if our session ends on a non-combat, NPC talking cliffhanger, TO THE FORUMS!

EDIT : Is everyone (except Shoruke, who I know can't attend that early) open for 4:00 or so?

D:

That sucks, Sky. Maybe if you're lucky the restriction will go away after a few weeks. :-\

Anyway, thanks. I'm looking into options now but I'm not sure what I'm going to do with her just yet. Maybe go Fighter and specialize in pure range? There's a few good prestige classes (Master Sniper - although it has a stupid 'no good people lol' requirement, Bow Master, Sniper, Spellbow) for that.

Or stay Barbarian, replace the crappy feats, and go Titan Blade for maximum lulz. :P

I'll be there. Maybe by then I'll have a better Kanesrae to use. ^^^

Ugh. I myself am experiencing The Elder Scrolls syndrome. (If you don't know of it, it's where you make a character, then decide you want a different type of character, then it's all 'no, what if I had this combination,' and so on. o.o)

However, I think this class's description is in-line with Rae's personality (I've been trying to find classes that are either tribal/primal in origin or would suit her personality like Duelist would). What do you think of Tenken? (If it's not acceptable I still have a list of things I'm marking down to ask about. :P)

Sounds fun and exotic.
The astra ability acts just like the time stop spell, just with a different name :3 It does seem like you'll have to re-roll.
