When he quoted only part of that, I didn't think that he meant that exact line. Stupidity on my part, I thought he targeted the whole thing and based my response as so. Also, why lying? You did not state how.
Why I didn't say my plan?
Firstly, the scum could easily use this as their scapegoat on why to lynch me because of it's obviousness and sheer stupidity and declare it WIFOM.
Second, it could be easily twisted into a deeper count of WIFOM because of the general reaction to
why in the world would a townie even do this?! which can be answered easily below, 2 paragraphs after this.
Third, I put the subtlety in that I am town. Knowing that other town only know themselves, putting vague hints to what it was kept up the spark and the responses of mostly everyone, and to keep the scum in a safe feeling because they know that they won't have one of their lynched on the first day. If I gave it earlier, it would be less liable to seem true because, as stated, scum can twist words easily and easier so as I already seemed scummy. Teamwork beats a one man band, especially when it is a plan like this.
Fourthly, the time in which I post this makes it all the more liable to error, just because "I am scum".
The Plan: I did not want any experienced townie to suffer the lynch. Looking through the many Mafia games before, townies often get lynched in the first day. Offering up myself while making me look like scum seemed a fair exchange, and taking in the fact that scum would generally not all lurk as a team and some seeming active, I'd make the bait, partly to get conversation going and to keep the scum feel safe and slip up in their hunting.Hence, my posts and 'passivity' as
webadict would point out, which he didn't yet reply to.
And...here are all my posts, so none can complain.
IronyOwl: If I was the cop, I'd inspect the most aggressive player or the one leading scumhunting, to be sure of their alignment. If a doc, I'd try to first determine who seems to be the most dangerous to the scum and protect them. As a vigilante, I'd withhold my kill until I am mostly sure that my target is scum, As a scum then it would be most random; but not the one who either voted me for any reason.
Urist Imiknorris: Who would you consider more of a threat, strategy-wise, a new player to Mafia or someone you've been playing with for a considerable time?

Powder Miner and GlyphGryph: Why continue the battle on each other this early? From what I see, making a duel here would only impact a very small part of us thirteen. Also, I have a tiny inkling lurking in the back of my head saying that this will not end well for town if you both pool your energies on this.

Firstly, all I see in their posts is a duel for ideas, either side trying to prove the other wrong. I'm trying to be open-minded about this, if they're both town then they're just wasting details on proving each other wrong; and only on each other. From where I see it, scum won't draw that much attention to each other and bus each other like so.
And if they are both town, my take is the scum will take advantage of the attention lapse (doesn't seem like any) and quietly hide amongst the rest. Hence, unvote.
But I'm still watching them, GlyphGryph wants answers to most of his questions ASAP; strange thing there. PM is on the defense, the only focus of GG's attack. I'm wondering why both of them are like this now, if either one of them gets lynched and turns town, then where will they turn?

Which...was partly answered in another thread on why he does shortens. Before any of that, I didn't like the feel of his Shorten, guessing he has a night action without finding scum and going on the defensive from two votes.

Also, I'm not saying that he specifically is town or is scum, but only an inference based on his action (attacking PM, mostly him) and that they're just dueling it out since then. If one of them is scum, then he's attracting attention to himself so his buddies would stay hidden. If both are town though, then I don't see anything to be gained but walls of text on each other, with every part being replied to and with nearly no knowledge on everyone else.
@Dariush: I'm waiting. How he worded a pressure vote seems very out of place, followed up by the 'practice' part. A question on "Why shouldn't we lynch you right now" doesn't seem like practice to me.

I'm trying to get them to stop as from where I see it, there is nothing to be gained on both sides but a shift of thought on why the other is scummy or not. Both have not contributed to scumhunting, replying to each other would do.

Currently, I have no other answer to why I was stepping in, just whatever I said before and this: A feeling that either both are town and are wasting their efforts other than getting attention on the real scum or that their actions are hiding scum due to the attention. Does it makes me seem like scum because I'm following my intuition when many are being vague themselves? (Other than the scum know town thing).
