Alright, Brumble/Crundill stats, moves, and abilities are on the wiki now. I've got Espier/Helgust (was there a third evolution planned? I have stats for three for some reason), Mr. Tusks/Skelefaint, and Magamette/Magaphant/Vulcaphant as well and I'll add them when I have time. If someone else feels the drive to do it, all the info's here.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Alright, so I've got Git downloaded. What's the command to upload a file? Should I upload the semi-finished Intro and Area 1 text for perusal/critiquing.

---

I seem to remember someone requesting a rename of Brainrape, but I'm not sure. Just in case:
I give you:

Cordyceps, the fungus that reproduces by bursting out the back of the head of ants and other insects.

I'll give you mainline access once you get the hang of git - create a fork and send me a pull request for the moment.
http://help.github.com/fork-a-repo/

Though again I would add that it would probably be easier to post this to the wiki rather than add it to the project via github, it ultimately works either way. And I suppose it's easier to have multiple people editing it via github.

Also, Cordyceps can certainly provide the base for a name, though since tis already a thing its not a name yet. When we do a brainstorm naming session next time, I'll make sure to bring it up as a component though.

Hmm... Gonna have to think... Corodicep? Make it poison/plant, through in a "corode" reference as well? Hmm...

I love you.

That could easily work.

EDIT: The new name is officially Polyceps. According to my limited latin education, that should mean many-head.

Someone should map in boatmurdered as a location/part of the storyline.

Boatmurdered is already one of the starter mons.

Also, nice demon bases! Contrast probably needs to be cleaned up a bit, but definite potential!

Had some ideas for potential Dwarfomon (feel free to change names):

Mecha-nism -> Pullever -> Screwpump

Rockfallen -> Weaponsprung -> Cagecaught

We've already got those in the game as well. :P

You should check the top part of the wiki, I think. ^_^

Though we appreciate the effort!

There should be a press cake mon. Because nobody actually uses press cakes (except people who do).

I reworked the perlihorn sprite, I think it looks a whole ton better now. With christmas approaching combined with a spiraling descent into the depths of depression, I didn't have time to do much last week. Both problems have been resolved, but a new one has reared its ugly head - I'll be without a computer at home until the end of the week (which is why I'm posting this from work). After that, expect a new burst of progress as I struggle to make up for lost time.

HOWEVER, if anyone needs to get a hold of me I'll be monitoring this thread when I can, hopefully my compatriots absences are only temporary as well.

Yeah, my own absence is purely holiday related- I work in a grocery store, so I'm getting tons of hours. Glad to see this bumped before I had to finally get around to spriting Kitscuit :P

Y'know, the wiki could do with pics of the respective mons on the pages.
