(OOC:
I found that principle quite engaging and and used it as i thought the cores to be something similiar to such a Hive Tyrant: a part of the Hivemind with a bit more individuality than the rest of it (for example the termangants were as intellligent as a body part, and reverted to their primal nature when out of the Hiveminds reach.)

But if you feel annoyed by it Nivm i will take over any better suggestion how to do the Core part...
The problem with using the Tyranids (or Zerg) as a template is that they have "pooled their brain matter"; almost all members of the hive have very small, animalistic brains, while a specific few "controllers" have all the intelligence. This is not how hives work in real life, and it doesn't look like how ours works either. In a normal hive, all members are of about equal intelligence, but they communicate and work together so seamlessly that they are better described as a single being, rather than a group.
 Perhaps this might help:
But the issue implied by this list and Dwarmin's list, is that if people were forced to stick to a single core, they would get bored quite quickly. A few have already played the roles of other cores here [it's easy to forget who posts when the right color is used], and indeed, there's no reason to discourage this. If at the time you can make a core's action better than another player has [or at all], it's probably best that you do so.
There are plenty of problems with this, but most of them can be steamrolled as long as we think of this not as a character guiding game, but as a train of thought building game.

Predit: Not done, but I'm tired, and I know if I try to come back to it later it might not get posted for a day or two as other things come up, and by then it might be rendered invalid.
Edit: Still not done, I'm a bit pressed for time this weekend.

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

I think all of us choose "Cores" according to how they've predicted to play this game. everytime you play a game, you become a "character". It's human mind.
This said, i'm completely ok with everyone able to talk as every core existing.

Die.
[As long as your death is productive and further's the freedom of the mind].

Otherwise, as you were.

OOC: Yeah, I was totally gonna update and junk...then sometime around this monday I caught some sort of bug that threw me for a loop for three or four days. I've been finding it hard to concentrate on anything recently. I can't promise the game will come back, in truth....sigh. I want to anyway.
