"LISTEN TO ME! Aw, forget it..." A green mist comes out of the filly and proceeds to waft towards Khenal.
((Dsarker, you're a genius.))

"Duchess!" Cornbread pleads, but Charity ignores her. "Fine! If you aren't going to listen to me, I quit this court!"

[Telgin]

((I'm gonna make Cornbread rush after Couth. Anyone stopping me?))

((Falcata certainly wouldn't let Cornbread come between her and stuffing Darkmane in a cell.  Duchess' orders and all.  Not that you can't try, of course))

Falcata leads Darkmane from the makeshift courtroom into the hallway beyond.  A curious tingling odor brushes her nostrils.  Did somepony burn some bread?

Cornbread storms off down the corridor. Once she is out of sight, she slips down the hallway, following Falcata silently.

Her nostrils start to tingle. She sniffs the air. Something must be burning.

[Dsarker]

"LISTEN TO ME! Ah forgot it..." A green mist comes out of the filly and proceeds to waft towards Khenal.

Well, of course! But what in particular was my stroke of genius this time?

[Khenal]

I eye Carrot as he approaches me.

"I hope you've learned to respect my memories, Carrot."

[KingStrongbeard]

As the crowd sees the green mist pour forth from the filly, many of them panic. Several run for the door, other stand dumbstruck.

Charity jumps atop her marble table, her horn glowing bright. "Khenal! That filly is possessed! Quick you must help me bind the deamon."

[The Master]

'Nah, I'm just taking over your body for a bit.'

"Wow it's roomy...Uh...I'm Psycho Carrot...sorta."

[KingStrongbeard]

Charity still not realizing that that the "deamon" is actually the ghost of Psycho Carrot yells, "You will not take Khenal!" ghostly chains, much like the ones Khenal can summon appear from Charity's horn. Though hers are smaller, thinner, and appear rusted. They latch onto Psycho's ghostly form and try to pull him from Khenal.

[Khenal]

'Oh, this is going to freak ponies out something fierce, especially since I think I need to reassure Charity.  Give me back my mouth for a sec.'

"It is Carrot, Duchess.  Deceased ponies do not always stay away, you remember the ghost of Lolum?  Carrot is just a bit more...proactive in letting ponies know that something is troubling him.  I think he has something he needs to say."

[Dsarker]

"Regardless of whether it's true or not, it is not what we are here to do at this time. Starkey, let's go back to the day of the almost coup, if you please. When you heard of the deaths of the ponies, you went to confront Khenal, to ak if he'd ordered it, correct?"

[The Master]

The chains rust to nothing as soon as they hit Khenal.
"Indeed. I'm back everypony, FROM THE DEAD! I can tell you EXACTLY, in DETAIL, what happened at the scene of my death."

[KingStrongbeard]

'Is that really Khenal's voice or is it just using him.'

The ghostly chains fly forth and wrap around Khenal and the "deamon" binding the spirit in place.

"On the chance that this isn't a trick. I will hear you out, but you are not leaving here until I'm sure of what you are spirit."
