I open my eyes, though I stay laying down on the hospital bed.

"Hello Cornbread, I'm Khenal.  Um, why are you here in the hospital, you look healthy."

Cronbread shruggs. "I have no idea! I seem to have forgotten! Do you need any saving?"

Before Khenal can say anything, Cornbread starts hopping in the air.

"Cause I was walking down here, and then I saw you, and then you seemed cool, and then..." he rambles on and on.

Nah, I joined over cause I'd been playing DF for sometime...didn't register before though. I was too lazy and had too much schoolwork. D:

I smile and chuckle a bit, before wincing at the pain of my ribs.

"Not right now, thanks though.  I just need to rest and to think."

"Okay!" Cornbread bounds off, passing random servants and asking: "Have you seen any enemies? No? Well what about you?" His chattering fades down the hallway.

I look around the dark hallways of the morgue wing. "Hello?" I ask. "Anybody down there?" No one responds. So, I do the natural thing. I immediatly began my expidition around the morgue wing.

The area is very quiet. The smell of decaying bodies fill my nostrils, causing me to feel nausious. I hear the scuttle of a rat.

"Ha!" Cornbread yells. "I see you! Halte, vermin!"

The rat darts under a tablecloth. Yelling, Cornbread follows it, waving his sword wildly around.

"I'll get you," he mutters under his breath. "You aren't escaping from me!"

"Cornbread!" A voice yells. "What are you doing in here?"

Cornbread turns around to see his friend "Insert appropriate name HERE (I'l use the placeholder Bluejay.)" standing across the chamber. "Bluejay!" he cries. "Am I glad to see you! How have-"

"Awesome," Bluejay replies. "But what are you doing here? This is the morgue. You shouldn't be here."

Cornbread laughs. "I'm hunting for monsters! What are you doing?"

"I'm hunting for you, idiot! Where've you been? We're supposed to report to the field now!"

Cornbread is shocked. "What? But I thought-"

"Nevermind what you thought! Now come with me before our captain finds out what you've been doing all morning!" The two rush down the hallway, and out of the morgue.

Not too insane, please.  We've got the insanity of The Master to deal with, I don't know if we can survive two ponies being totally bonkers

On a hill overlooking the city, Grapevine is watching the last few flickers of the sunlight as it vanishes completely over the horizon. He hears a hiss behind him.

"Scrapjaw, what do you want?" Grapevine askes.

"The moon's full," Scrapjaw says, "as you very well know. The time is coming. We creatures of the night cannot wait any longer. You will either surrender the 'insert object of importance here' or we wipe you out."

"Is that a challenge? Do you wish to face me right now?" Grapevine draws his sword, turning to face the werewolf.

"No, not yet," The boogyman snarls. "One day, be very sure, pony. One day..."

With an cackle, the boogyman dissappears into the darkness, leaving Grapevine, his sword still drawn, to comprehend the words he'd heard.
