You can blame new job and other RL-related changes for the lack of update...
I don't think I'll have time to do the whole thing tomorrow, but I promise I'll at least make a start. :)

"Get those sacks of flour loaded! We ain't got all day!"
Hoofbeats, shouts and even the occasional laughter rang out across the ranch as the wagons were loaded. This long-awaited action after a period of fearful inactivity had actually served to cheer some folks up, despite the dangers involved along the way. Too long they'd sat around, just hoping for things to change, now they were actually doing something. It was a long shot, but it was something...

The tall Indian simply nodded at the rancher's words, then turned and headed back towards the wagons, a small bundle with his few belongings hanging from his shoulder.
Murray gives a quick nod and a "Mornin', Miss Emma," to Emma, then follows Amos over to the horses, looking a little ill-at-ease as Dryman climbed up onto a powerful stallion.
"I don't trust that indian, boss. Be careful, yeah?" He turned to watch the proceedings as the general crowds began to move towards the wagons, makin last-minute changes and perparations. Everything was just about ready, and the various workers, both those going on the drive and those that planned to stay, milled around the wagons talking while they waited for their Boss.
Occasional riders trickled in through the gates, the young Reverend Greenmore amongst them, and the herd was rounded up rather quickly.
The day was getting brighter now as the sun made its lazy way up into the sky, revealing the flat, rolling plains around the ranch.
As everything was almost ready to go, Mrs. Dryman made her way over to her husband's horse, looking up at him anxiously with their young son in tow.
"Amos... Are you going to tell them?" She said, quietly, nodding towards the massed ranks of farmhands assembling around the wagon train. "I mean, that I and James are coming, too? I think they'll understand, but people might still be a little surprised despite everything, you know?"

The reverend gathers everyone so inclined for a quick prayer before they set off...

Gregor joins in the prayer, as he does so clenching his knife until his knuckles turn white.

Emma was a bit miffed about being ignored by Mr. Dryman, but she was willing to let it go. No reason to cause trouble at the start of a journey; it would be bad luck and then some. She headed on over to the wagons and hopped up onto the wagon with Nowan. She was about to say "Howdy" when she noticed his hat pulled over his face, meaning he was trying to get some sleep. Might as well let 'em; a man needs his sleep to shoot straight, or so they say. She found a comfortable place to sit and waited for the call to start moving.

Unknown to most but the insane and the mystics, Tarran is actually Earth itself, as Earth is sentient like that planet in Avatar. Originally Earth used names such as Terra on the internet, but to protect it's identity it changed letters, now becoming the Tarran you know today.
Quote from: Ze Spy
Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.
