If I was to give William an alignment, I would say Chaotic Neutral, slightly leaning towards evil.

Strictly speaking, all I've seen is a reaction to Laythe tossing him out (finding a new home and whatnot). I'll wait until I've had a chance to interact with him more extensively to figure that out.

@micelus: He's a character in Pasha's backstory. It's unknown exactly where he is or when Pasha worked for him (or how long, for that matter), but let's just say the pike treatment Laythe talked about doing to her enemies? He would have that done to commoners for a laugh. He's quite rich and powerful... or was. Like I said, if the GMs don't like the idea, then let's say Pasha might as well be missing a ring finger, IYKWIM.

Yeah. Marlax apparently drags the young men and women of a village off to a dungeon, where they weren't heard from again. And implying that bad things happened to them there.

Laythe only gives the pike treatment to people like Marlax, the rest of the criminals slated for death get to atleast serve their liege once more before death...

Out of curiosity, where does everyone think they stand? Pasha is probably at Lawful or plain Neutral. He follows his own code of ethics as far as he is able and doesn't really promote helping or hurting others; he just hires out his services when he needs the coin, serves his contract, and moves on.

@Ninjas: I seem to recall that you threw him out just because he was a noble who went against your wishes, and you didn't really care what the end plan was.

William was going to totally turn that land over and pay to buy the other ones, with his own money. Then he was banished. So he thought "screw turning the land over, I'm going to need some money."

And for Laythe, I can't really pin an alignment on her, but I guess most people would say lawful-evil...
