Well, they saw us approach, and both Laythe and the fox would've been bloodstained. So even if they do know that we have him, they can't be sure if Laythe attacked him or vice-versa.

As for Tere not returning to town, he's really too injured to do so...

I'd argue that knocking him out would be several hours he'd be out - not days. There's also nothing saying they'd be bloodstained at all. AF has been in mileth a whole season. You haven't been touched unless you're wearing stained armors PRE-battle

I mean after the negotiation. Nuke did write that he was coughing up blood and such, wouldn't be much a a streach for some of that to end up on Laythe's armour.

And in this case, he may've had a tinge of stupidity. He'll I wouldn't have been surprised if he brang a few bodyguards with him...
