Adwarf, I intended to give you the sloop as payment for your help and lost ship. The value difference alone is great payment. Mine was easily worth 2-3x what you lost. I prefer the heavy cargo ship for my current  plans anyway. Im keeping the cargo. You didn't even try to bargain. You were going to cut and run. You've therefore forfeit my good nature.

Actually, that's just embarassing.  I missed that completely when I was scanning the thread for it.  My apologies.

Had I read this a little more accurately I would have noticed the potions aspect and commented on it, so that's my mistake there.  I'll count you in as having some experience with herbalism, then, but not the sort of alchemy that results in Stormfire or gunpowder.  Mahtan is the alchemist/engineer character, whilst Drua is the alchemist(herbalist)/cartographer.  Both are allied with Elbreth, although one is trapped in burning Suul until I do tonight's update and the other is getting funds for an exploration trip (she's still in Sheepstead, though).

After he nearly sold his goods to it.  If he'd rolled a 1 I would've made it the ship a'Valti raided, hehe.  He didn't, so he lucked out and used a different ship instead.

Depending on where the ship was headed to/from I'm planning on a run to sell the goods to cover the next year of upkeep. Then I need to expand my fleet which is going to cost at least 5ducats. At which point the world should be stable for me to start the merchant empire.

Oh and I just want to say my characther does not worship the Old gods. He worships  the mad god Samhein, god of ice and darkness. Bringer of endless torment and prolonged death. And thats the nice god of the Northlands)

Basically the god of Sado-maschoists.[/joke]
Basically a demon of high power that the people of the undefined northlands worship.
It is a conglomertion of all the holy pantheons apothesis.

It has a small brotherhood of Bloodshedders.

• Great at fighting and torturing(+3 to each)
• Have a tendency to burn the village that they invaded.(4 out of 6 chance of burning the village down
• Burn any religous buildings they encounter. Regardless of religion.
• Basically a bane to any civilization, that one sends out when they want waton destruction and chaos.

Which would cost 4 ducats to hire one regiment's worth.

Eh, why not.  You can almost do that unit within the existing upgrades though (Heavy Berserker, I'd say) so it doesn't need a specialised ability.

Also, this system is turning out to be rather larger than I expected.  Erk!  I need to stop writing game sub-systems that would make for entire games by themselves.

Then how about a four plus to fighting, to make seperate it from the heavy beserkers, but that might make them too unstoppable...adding a one regiment allowance might even it out however...

I know that was 2/3, i just simplified it. For easy use within the system.

I'm gonna have to ask that Commander Zacmar needs to make a roll to have snuck minicrossbows past the guards. They were searched and their weapons detained before entering the throne room, after all.

E: This is assuming you even want to allow this attack to take place.
