Why can't you use animals' nails to make crafts if migrants sometimes arrive wearing nail jewelry?

Precisely one for a single material stack, duh. Regardless of size it is consumed entirely for one job.

Why would a stack of several dozen bones be required to decorate a small animal trap whereas some dorfs happily make entire cabinets out of single tiny gem?

The bones are stacked like Lincoln logs, and the rough gems are actually about the size of an elephant.

Why do building materials become darker when made into floors?  I can't make my Pikachu mosaic dining room like this!

Isn't there a option to adjust tink in the LNP?

If a a mini-fort out of a cube of obsidian over a volcano is caved-in, will it stay intact on the bottom?
