We have elf-power though still I'd go with the mines rather than the mining

Land mines are both quicker and also a lot more unpredictable to the enemy. Once someone has fallen into the pit, they will all avoid it, which makes it a good defense, but not really suited for offense. It's a good obstacle, but we don't have the time or tools to make one (which reminds me that we should buy some rope and a shovel or two, good for exploring, as well as a lantern and oil for it). Stick with the explosives for now.

Relax, it's not all that complicated. The plan is simple, we box them in and wipe them out. The mines stop them from going forward, the tripwires will protect the sides and our grenades and flashbangs will stop them running back the way they came. Though if they do manage to get away, no skin off our backs, since it will still stop the caravan, which is the whole point of the mission.

A nice idea. But only take 1 after we are done, we can't afford to take all of them with us. Just lead the rest to the elves and let them have them.

They said it would help, but we still don't know how exactly. It might just make grass grow for all we know. Better to stick with what we know will work. Plus, blowing orcs up is fun.   ;)

The gobs won't send an army after a party of 3 people. They have bigger concerns right now. Maybe after we get famous or something, but not right now. Plus, they would already think the elves did it, since it is near their town and all, not to mention that the elves DID hire us to actually do this for them. Right now, we are basically mercs, and times are good to be a merc.  :P
