deconstruct the wagon, use the wood to build a carpenters workshop and then a wooden axe, chop down some trees,  and then build an artifact wooden coffin.

WWUD if he figured out how to build boats

Urist brings his caravan to the fort of risidertal. On the way in he admires the wagon wood floors, walls, bridges and trade depot. On the way out he admires his light load.

WWUD if ordered to go to the mountainhomes to pick up a bin of request for mandate/demand form request form forms?

Knowing us, who use minecarts as weapons and giant cave spiders for trade goods, Urist McWizard would spend his days teleporting stones for the masons to use. The fort is defended by coconut tree shaking machines.

Leave it on the floor in the corridor outside his room, because he doesn't have a chest and is already wearing two rings. In unrelated news, the hauler Okon Athelgakit has disappeared. His ghost continues to haul rocks from the mines and socialize with friends and relatives.
