Escape immediately, because they're just a bunch of pansy elves and he can enter a martial trance, then return to his home. He would enter the house, look his brothers dead in the eye, and say:

"You guys would not believe what just happened!" Urist and his brothers go out into the woods and finish off the injured elves, then have chug down some dwarven ale.

WWUD if he met his long-lost twin who had been snatched by goblins when they were both infants?

Be eaten by a zombie sea monster before he can halt a poorly conceived and planned nuclear bomb threat. The entire west coast of the Infinite Universes is poisoned by fallout for years to come as a result, though the deleterious effects experienced by local fauna are minimal.

WW Urist McMechanic do if he was assigned to the fortress' uranium enrichment program?
