Ah, an ash tree. May want to mod in the tormented souls of elves to enslave and turn into residents. Custom reaction: Elf+fire= elf wraith?

No.

Hold the leaves on the tree by supports, then simulate autumn when enemies arrive?

Root construction is underway, learning experiences are being had, and some gaps that are not apparent in the top down view have been found. Here is a portion of what is finished, I would post more but I am having trouble convincing stonesense to save a picture of the whole map. Any suggestions as to how to make the "screenshot whole fortress" button render the terrain before it captures instead of just capturing the backdrop would be appreciated.

As I understand it this is bugged in the latest version of Stonesense.

The roots look great though!

Those roots look awesome. Just from that, I'm trying to picture the whole tree... this will probably be the best thing I've ever seen if you complete it! :D

I am unsure if the elfs will be mad about you clear cutting the map, or happy because your rebuilding it as a giant tree.

I think they'd be about as happy as we'd be if they constructed a giant human out of human corpses. P:

Silly elves. Although I would understand their anger... and pain... if someone cut all of my wood.
