Well, some years are leaner than others.

Honestly at the time, I didn't see what could go wrong with crowding 80 military Dwarves into a small room with a necromancer for the purpose of making bacon.

Weaponlords and champion.  I put the old set on top for comparison.  Far left is the champion.

OK, this time, I was not as shy to remake the body to make the pose make more sense, and I think it really makes the whole set look a lot better...  The ranged weaponlords have eyepatches to help denote their badass status.  Oh, and the lasher has a grey shield now.

I can also do the champion with some other gear, like a big shield or something instead of the torch.  I would have done a flag as my first choice, but couldn't think of a good way to make that look right.

Oh, and I know you'll like the wrestling master, Patchy.

Yup, a Hong Meiling naga. Spotted her before I even read the last part of your post. Definately got a nice chuckle out of that. And the rest of those nagas look exceptional too.

Blargity blarg.

OK, fun with palette swaps.

Soldiers, law enforcers, tax escorts, skeletons, and zombies.

... I actually think the skeletons look kind of cute.

Of course, I have to wonder how a skeleton snake manages locomotion, when only those ribs are touching the ground.  (Of course, regular skeletons only move at all because of magic, so who am I to point out one more logical fallacy?)

Zombies have bites taken out of them.  The peasant zombie has no left arm, and a big hole in the back of her head.  (I guess that's where they took the brains out?)  Soldier zombies have a chunk missing from their torso, and you can see some spinal column there.

Furthermore, while they are pretty fast, palette swaps and copy-pasting en masse are not nearly as fun as just drawing something.  Thank God for layers, though.  Duplicating the weapons and just dropping them down 32 pixels makes the whole process much faster.

These are looking beautiful NW.

The tail of the skeletal nagas look like some sort of bony centipede. Looks good though.

I don't know.

Girlinhat hasn't been back, so maybe she finished it, and is just waiting on the sprites, or maybe she lost interest.

I guess if it looks like Girlinhat really isn't coming back, I could probaby put something together, but I don't want to jump to any conclusions after just a couple weeks' absence.

Nice work NW_Kohaku!

I mean, WOW!  8)

Do you mind if I use these in my Advanced mod? I'm still missing graphics for nagas and I'm bad at drawing myself.

Yes, these were made for people to use in their mods, so go ahead.

I'm nearly done with the whole sheet. It's meant to go in with Phoebus's graphics, so I'm going to make it so that the graphics sheet will look like Phoebus's dwarves or humans, and just use Find And Replace to swap out references so that they work with nagas.

Nice work, those look awesome too, even the undead hehe. And Girlinhat is still logging into the forums it appears, she was last active yesterday. So send her a pm or something I suppose.

Edit: And speaking of undead, what do you have for the ghost naga? Its a crazy thought and only a touhou fan would care, but ghost Mima-naga. Her long ghost tail could be substituted for a snake tail heh.

I actually made a ghost sprite a while ago, when I was making the basic sprites (and the priestesses):

If you really want, though, I could make some extra Touhou-related sprites for you.

Ah, I must have missed the ghostly one then. And up to you if you want to do any of those. It was just an idea I was throwing out there in case you haven't done it yet. That and Reincarnation was playing on my playlist at the time.

Well, this IS a sprite request thread, so what the Hell?

Mima

(I'll still use the ghost-ghost as a ghost, but maybe I'll throw together some sort of alternate graphics sheet if people want oddball stuff.)

I've got enough assorted poses by now in my stamps file that most of these are just quick selections of layers and a fifteen second palette swap job plus throwing on some ribbons or something.

Haha, that is cool. Yeah the other ghost does look more ghostly, but still could probably fit Mima in somewhere. I could probably put up a big list of my absolute favorite touhous, of which the SA cast holds most of the top spots with Satori on top. I just fell completely in love with her stage theme the first time I played through SA.

What sacrilidge is this?!  You call yourself Patchy, but you're a Satori fan?!  (Actually, I rather liked Yamame and Okuu's themes from SA... But Patchouli is always my favorite.)

Anyway, I'll try not to derail this into a Touhou thread, but if you have requests for something that might be fun to make, go ahead.
